asked about foam cutting so can skirt my camper. was told couldn't cut on saw, I get that. when asked if someone could cut with box cutter, said we can't give out tools. that wasn't what I was asking. Not everyone can afford to drive a truck, I was asking for anyone available to cut foam that I was going to buy. A simple task and idiot could do. The guy at the desk told me to go back in the other side of the store. left everything and walked out. Need to work on customer service skills and learn how to help people. also a good ear cleaning would help. won't be back. will go where customer service is more important to businesses.

Last week my fiancée went in to look around for countertops and cabinets for her new salon and the department head was completely unprofessional towards her. She was rude right off the bat making judgmental remarks. Refused to help her, and she wouldn't get out of her chair or look her in the eye. I don't typically leave bad reviews but in this instance I think it was deserved. Hoping that lady gets fired one day

I do not like leaving negative reviews. It has taken me a long time to finally review Home Depot. The customer service is absolutely terrible. No one will help you here ever. No one knows where anything is and won't even try to figure it out. They will flat out tell you "I don't know" and leave it at that. I have come here multiple times and each time I am extremely disappointed with the service. They really need to establish better training. I know Customer Service is lacking in general in this day and age but it is unacceptable for a business to have such lazy workers. No one has knowledge of anything here. I will forever go to Lowe's instead. The customer service is so much better at Lowe's. Anytime I go there and need assistance, they're willing to help and are generally very knowledgeable about the products they sell. If they are not sure they will find out for you. Superior Custer service for sure.

if you cancel a online order , the store will blame the online store for not being able to do a refund and the online store will blame the local store. even after attempting to cancel the order, refusing delivery they seem to have a glitch that wont give a refund. don't order online from home depot

3:30pm to 7:30pm delivery for an appliance. took time off work and it is now 9:10pm. no phone calls. can't get a human on the appliance hotline. this is beyond irritating. people work, people take time off to be here for their deliveries and then nothing! go to Lowes or a smaller appliclance store! no phone call, no making things right. home depot.. this is beyond disappointing!

So here's the deal. I am super unhappy with the way I was treated during a delivery of a custom $1800 cabinet!!! Over the last I don't even know how many years we have been a loyal customer... we have had nothing but issues with this Home Depot in Nampa. I paid for the cabinet and told the lady placing the order it was for delivery! Well they didn't deliver it. Customer service called me and told me that it was ready for pickup and I informed them that it was supposed to be delivered. She told me that's fine I will get that fixed for you. Well fast forward a week and when I got the order in my email it said... outdoor delivery... it was snowing outside and I'm not happy about it being left out there. So we called to make sure they will at least put it in the doorway. They told us "no problem". On May 10 it was delivered at 7pm and they dropped it off in my driveway and left. I didn't even have a chance to talk to them. We called Home Depot and they told us that the manager would come by the following day and bring it in the house. I got a call the following day and the lady told me that they can't do anything because I live in Emmett. Well guess what here in Emmett it rained the following day. So being a single mother I had to bring this 8 foot cabinet into the house with the help of my 9 year old son. So who lost all business with me for a complete kitchen remodel? These jackasses did. I'm not giving this company anymore of my hard earned money. Btw to have the cabinet put inside the house was $20... $20 freaking dollars. When I spent $1800 on a cabinet and $2400 on a double oven in a matter of 5 minutes.

the day of delivery we got a 14 hr delivery window notification with a 30 min notice before they get there. My wife missed work to be there, I called and said I was headed home go ahead and go to a late appt she had. She called me back and told me she was blocked in the garage and couldn't get her car out because they dumped everything in the driveway. 3 boxes 2 were 116 pounds and 1 was 132 pounds she couldn't move them if she tried to and they were damaged besides.

The store employee who assisted me while buying a storm door took far too long trying to enter the order into the computer - multiple times logging in and out of his computer systems. What should have taken 15 minutes instead took an hour because their dinosaur systems do not talk to each other. Unacceptable to those of us who realize time is money and he wasted my time with an easy order that took far too long.

Management isn't helpful & has a bad attitude. Rather than helping track down a delivery they completely canceled the order! Our delivery has been pushed out a month and while on its way the 2nd time the truck broke down. So we called to reschedule delivery & another 4 weeks out?! Then the excuses of "it's on backorder". Won't allow us to pick it up & it's not our fault the truck broke down, why do we have to wait 4 more weeks? We didn't want delivery when we bought it, the cashier talked us into it. Everyone we talked to had a different reason but no apologies or concern. Poor treatment of customers, well now one less. They had it in stock at Lowes. It's now installed. After 2 months I have a new stove finally.

Paid thousands and waited weeks for a whole home carpet installation. Their contracted installer put in two different colors and we only wanted one. Ridiculous and ruined our summer. Nowhere to sleep tonight.

My boyfriend and I went and rented a floor sander so we could redo our patio floor and the man who came and helped us didn't give us everything we needed, missing the pad that goes between the sander and the sand paper, so we get it home and it's just not working. I thought it was maybe my fault like I just wasn't doing it correctly because I've never operated one before so I said "oh well I'll just take it back and figure something else out it's only fifty bucks." We took it back within four hours and I explained to the woman who helped us return it that it just did not work at all and she said well you are missing the sander pad. I replied and said the man who helped us said this was all we needed so I wasn't aware we needed other hardware for this. She very rudely said "well why would you keep it for three hours if it wasn't working?" It wasn't so much the comment as it was her very rude tone and lack of customer service that frustrated me. I went and paid full price for this equipment and didn't get what I paid for. She still charged me and continued to say how if I was having problems I should've called and all this other stuff. No...I should've been given the proper tools while I was there bottom line. I would've expected them to offer to give me the sander pad and keep it for another four hours maybe or something to compensate for not giving me what I originally paid for. Very displeased with the service at the Nampa Home Depot.

After years of shopping at Home Depot....I will NEVER AGAIN!! I spent 20 minutes yesterday wandering, looking for a truck tool box. I asked 2 different associates and was told they didn't know. I approached another associate to ask yet again...and I was blatantly ignored and then they walked away. I finally found the tool boxes, high up on a shelf that I obviously couldn't reach.
