I was very impressed with Durobilt in Nampa . If they can repair an old beat-up starter for my jeep to like new condition overnight, they will be my first call from now on!

I will never go back. My starter that they rebuilt for me didn't match my flywheel after Durobilt was done. I spent $500 dollars there and Bart didn't seem to care when I told him what was going on with my starter. Finally gave up on Durobilt and made the drive to Boise and found a much better company Husky Electric. They were helpful made my starter work. Told me that my starter was rebuilt totally wrong. This ended up costing me a month of downtime and 1000 dollars later I'm up and running. Avoid Durobilt if you can! Once they have your money it's over.

Bart was very helpful and honest. I have had them rebuild a few starters and alternators over the years and they have all worked great. I just took a starter to them thinking it needed to be rebuild and it turns out that it didn't need to be. He was very honest and told me that it didn't need to be rebuilt. He didn't charge me anything either. Thanks Bart!

Man I really had high hopes for this shop. Purchased a reman alternator for my 92 Land Cruiser as preventive maintenance. Was charging intermittently but it was a project vehical and wasn’t driving it.Had my alternator rebuilt on my 01 Landcruiser as it was overcharging. Like spiking at 18 volts. Got it back and it wouldn’t put out more that 12.4v at 3000rpm. Under 12 at idle. Took it back to them. They tested it and said it was normal. Even though my lights would go way dim at idle then ramp up as I would leave idle. ( like an old generator would do). They said it was fine. It wasn’t. Started to drive my 92 LC and the alternator gave up completely. They tested it and said it was fine. The gentleman did take it apart in the back and check some things and then put it back together and said everything is good. Put it back in my vehicle. Still not charging. Everything in my vehicle harness was reading correctly. Put a cheap alternator from O’Reillys in. It worked fine. Did the same thing with my 2001 Land Cruiser and it fixed the issue also. I really wanted to like this shop but I can’t recommend.
