We have been members since we moved here from Hawaii in 2017-2018. We were looking for a credit union and we found this place. We are so happy we did and are still members. Now I have a story to tell - My hubbys’s debit card was compromised and they texted him right away to stop the purchase- we were so happy about that (we do not want to pay for someone else’s Christmas gifts) any hoo he needed a new card - so we called to see what we needed to do- the caped employee was very sweet (I wish I got her name) she ordered another card for him. This past Saturday 12/30/23 we were in the area and decided to stop by and check if his card was coming in the mail and if it was ordered, We got help from young woman named Doula she was so helpful and understanding and created a debit card for him (one was mailed but she stated to shred that one cause she made him a new one). We were so happy with her service I wanted to just tell someone about it !! Thank you Doula for your understanding and help with our situation- Happy New Year and keep up the awesome work!!! Thank you CapEd for having the right people working for your company

this has got to be one of the worst institutions I've have ever ran across. this place has worse than horrible customer service. If this is who you're car dealership is using for financing run out the door quickly buy your car elsewhere

Been a member for 2 decades but recent years it just hasn't been the same. They don't answer the phones anymore. Everything is an automated computer. Sat on hold for nearly two hours trying to talk to a real human and obtain basic account information that wasn't available online. Finally drove down to a branch. Should have taken 30 seconds but turned into a several hour process.

This is the worst credit union. If I would of known I would of never gone with this credit union. I have my car loan payment and they literally make it impossible to pay. Only way to pay is either in person with cash or there's a ACH. When you try to call them every time is up to a wait of 30 minutes. They don't have an option to pay on the website with a credit card or debit card. AWFUL CREDIT UNION!!!!!!

I used to bank with ICCU, US bank and Westmark. I have had nothing but positive experiences with CapEd. Holy cow!! This has to be one of the worst experience I have had at a bank! I even tried calling and it just keeps asking me for a membership number when I don’t know it than after so many time of trying to get threw it just says call volume too high and hangs up. I’m done with this!

Great place! I have never waited more than 1 minute to be helped. They are up front with accounts and if you have problems they are always there to help... email, chat, text, and call.

Was a couple days late getting my insurance added to my account and they added a $500 premium for ONE MONTH of insurance onto my loan. Absolutely ridiculous. Avoid getting a loan from here at if any way possible.

As much as I like to write good reviews, BAD is BAD Avoid this company at all costs. We purchased a vehicle from Corwin Ford in Nampa and they set our loan up through this company. After sending them auto insurance information at the time the loan was set up, we began receiving harassing letters from CapEd. We gave them our insurance cards, affadavits, etc, along with the phone number to State Farm and they said they would call. This went on for over a couple months and in the mean time they put a $3,933/year policy on top of our loan and began charging us. (This while we clearly had the required insurance). We eventually had our insurance company contact them because it was clear they planned to run the scam, if it was that, as long as possible. in the end they took an extra $185 for the insurance out of us that we were unable to retrieve. This because we were from Washington and the car sat on Corwin Ford's lot for a week or so before we could come get it and get everything completed. This company seems to steal an extra dollar in any way possible, and it appears to be well thought out. (Read the other reviews and decide for yourself) Be sure to tell Corwin that you don't want to use them or you might get stuck too.Note: I'm presenting this review for both Nampa and Meridian, as I'm not sure which one Corwin Ford selected for our car loan, but I assume they are both the same company at different locations.

Customer service is great. However the functionality of the ATM is completely ridiculous. 2/5 times will the atm be functioning. The drive up to the atm … why is it so hard to be able to withdra, the machine is so far into the wall??

Walked in after being on hold for 32 minutes and they were not busy and had people standing around. I literally hate capEd as a bank. Nothing but problems for the last 3 years.

Left this bank after a "last straw" incident. Called in to dispute a charge recently, which I had done once before. I was told by the CapEd associate this time that I would need to report my card as stolen if I was disputing. I let the person know I had not had to do that previously and that it wasn't stolen, but they said they had already put it into the system as stolen and that I had to get a new card now. Ended up being down a card and decided to change credit unions.The training and customer service has been steadily going downhill over time. Was a member for over 10 years.
