It's a coin toss wether or not we get our packages at all. They keep delivering our packages to a run down vacant house. Actually reading the address before delivery, might serve them well.

Whoever delivers off 51 and Smith (looks like an Old Lady in the white USPS truck but I can never tell because they're going WAY too fast) needs to SLOW DOWN. You're not the cops. The post isn't an emergency. It's always late anyways!There's no reason to be doing 40+ on a private dirt road that's posted 20 MPH. Would be a shame if you lost control because of loose gravel or couldn't stop in time because you're above the law. Just sayin!

Great people and great service. Any time I've an issue they handle it right away. Had a slight hiccup with a delivery once, stopped by the office and they located everything in just a few minutes. Never experienced a long wait time at the office. Also, probably the first local post office I've ever been able to call directly who had someone helpful answer the phone.

Getting real tired of a certain employee too lazy to search in more than one spot for packages that say held for pickup. They're either on the shelf or in the bin next to the shelf but he never looks in the bin and says they're not there even though we can see from the lobby that they're there! If you order stuff just put the ups store as the destination and quit using this post office.

I'll leave 2 stars. Only because I've had pretty solid service in the actual post office. The main issues that are present are linked to our mailman. There's been continuous issues with delivery of mail and packages. Some days, he will place inside the mail box or our entry. But this week, he just threw it outside the door and left it where a pet was able to access when the package could have fit in the box. Thankfully the items weren't destroyed. Please be mindful of mail and be considerate!

This post office has the kindest staff of any location I have visited. Last time I was in the man at the front called me over to help me figure out which shipping option would be the most affordable. They always work through a long line quickly.

Not sure why but yesterday was the second Tuesday in a row (Oct. 4 and 11, 2022) without mail delivery. HAs Tuesday become a new holiday??

In all fairness, the counter employees here have always been wonderful and easy to work with. The reason for the two stars is this:I have never dealt with this level of incompetence with a local post office. They should be very familiar with procedures for forwarding mail since they serve a large military community. Here I am one month after moving and I'm still getting mail sent to my old address. Two cases opened up through the USPS against them. Tried handling locally with an overly rude employee (Justin Sorenson?) who refused to listen to my complaint and instead continued to talk over me and make excuses rather than discuss solutions to this issue. Now I'm forced to escalate it to USPS Consumer Affairs - hopefully they can assist with this madness.

I have used the Mountain Home post office to mail several packages over the past 2 months. They have always been efficient, friendly, and professional. And, my packages have not only arrived on time, but have gotten to their destinations early.

Have never had a problem in any state I have lived with the USPS but thos post office is the worst. I always have trouble with Marco, the older skinnier lady with glasses and the heavy set lady. They never want to type in my packages always give me grief about them and tell me they wont accept them. UPS across the street has no problem and are always so happy to have my business and help me and type the numbers happily without any negative attitude. Your employees have the most negative attitude when it comes to helping customers. Id give 0 stars if I could. This happens everytime I drop off packages.

Carrier on more than one occasion has left my packages and mail at the street- end of my sidewalk which is about 40ft from my front door. I've been given no explanation why.
