I've been renting through welcome home property management for close to 2 years now and it's the best experience I've had with any rental agency in Moscow (I've lived here about 7 years now). Teresa is especially helpful and my experience with maintenance is that they'll fix important issues immediately and small things slowly; which to me is fine. When the pipes froze this winter they were very quick to handle it even over a holiday weekend.

I really wanted to be able to leave a good review but unfortunately I can't. We have been renting from welcome home for going on three years. We are in a four plex, and the only family with small children in the complex. It started the year we moved in, we were promised new windows, after months of being stood up, we finally got ONE window put in... but it (2years later) is still not completed or even framed in so we are getting moisture, bugs, dust etc in through that window. The other handful of windows are rusted and covered in mold and dripping wet in the winter months. When we call, they have us send in photos, we have done that twice... still Nothing. Everyone else in the complex has gotten their new windows . They came and tore our yard up and it took 8 months for them to come bring us seed to try and fix it. Now 4 weeks ago we were promised a sidewalk... which has been gravel for 8 months and still nothing. This has been the worst rental we have ever been in. Our rent keeps going up but nothing is being fixed. The grounds people dont even come to half of these properties by us. The weeds are way over grown, theres fallen tree limbs, garbage etc. If rentals weren't so outrageous we would definitely not be renting here. Unfortunately we are stuck.

I recommend renting through Welcome Home; my roommates and I never got hassled and always had a good experience working with this company when filing work orders. Fair pricing and consistent, timely assistance.

The worst people ever. Extremely unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. I felt disrespected every time I visited them, especially due to one employee who was clearly racist and had no manners.

Welcome home is notorious for terrible service and dirty apartments. If you need something fixed, do it yourself, they'll never get it done properly and take lots of photos showing the condition before and after move in/out.

We have been renting through Welcome Home Property Management since we moved to Moscow in July 2021. I am a bit frustrated with some recent contact that I have had with the office staff over the last several weeks. I contacted the office on 8/15 in the morning to report that on Sunday our shelf and closet bar in our Master bedroom closet had come crashing down and needed to be repaired. I spoke with Christine who took all my information to submit a work ticket. On Friday 8/19 I called to follow up as no one had reached out to schedule a time to come in, as we have a dog they cannot just enter whenever. Christine again took all of the information from me and did mention that they had been short staffed in maintenance over the last several weeks but that the were getting caught up and I should hear back from them soon. I again called on 8/26 after hearing nothing from anyone about scheduling. I again reached Christine who has again gathered all of the information as she could not find a work order ticket from any of my previous calls about this specific situation and mentioned she would put the message on Rachel's desk who would get to it first thing Monday morning as she was gone for the day. I decided to follow up on Monday morning, 8/29 to ensure the ticket was actually logged correctly. At 9:30 am I left a voice message on the maintenance line. At 2:30 pm I called back to see if I could reach anyone again and this time I reached Rachel, who was very aware of my situation, informed me that they have been short staffed and my situation did not fall under a priority call. I asked her if I could have my husband fix the closet shelf and take the expenses off of our rent which she very abruptly notified me the office does not do things that way and that the earliest I could be scheduled would be for 9/2 between 9-noon. I let her know I would need to check my schedule, which I was doing while we were on the phone, only to be notified abruptly that this would be the only time available for this to get fixed. Luckily my schedule is open during that time on Friday so we booked it.My frustration comes from I believe I have been very patient with this situation. I understand there are probably more pressing calls before this one and calls should be prioritized but I also don't think it is appropriate to not even put my work order in the system for 3 weeks. I even proposed a solution that I thought was very reasonable, if you are short staffed wouldn't you take help wherever you can get it? I get that this may not seem like a huge priority for others however my husband and I both have hanging cloths laying on top of our dressers. This shelf that came down is where my husband hangs all of his dress shirts, slacks and coats. We shouldn't be put out this long for a relatively easy repair that I can't imagine is going to take all that long. Our rent went up $100 a month with the renewal of our lease. We have been waiting for the blinds in our rental to be replaced since we moved in over a year ago as they were on back order when we moved in.Our front door still needs repairs from when we first moved in as there are gaps at the top, side and bottom where air comes through as well as light and in the winter we are paying higher electric bills than we should for a poorly insulated door that has been reported several times.I have mold on the ceiling in the upstairs bathroom that was reported upon move in (I didn't realize it was mold, just thought it hadn't been painted well as you could see dark patches coming through). When it was really bad about 3 months ago they did send someone out, which is when I learned of it being mold. They advised it was because the bathroom fan wasn't working properly (which was reported at the time we moved in as well). They cleaned the spot with something similar to Tilex and did send out an electrician to finally fix the fan.All these other items we have reported and we just sit and patiently wait. So I don't believe my request is all that unreasonable.

We've been with welcome home for almost a year now, always fair, quick, and friendly whenever anything comes up! No qualms about washer issues, and just overall very pleasant. Lease renewal was easy and quick, rentals are good!

Dont trust the 3 star rating you see. I guarantee all the negative reviews are from entitled college students that trashed their apartments and dont want to pay. These ladies have been nothing but spectacular for the last three years I've rented from them. They are very understanding and reasonable.

I've been renting with Welcome Home for 3 years now. They have been great to rent from and are very professional! I have never had any issues though them and they have always been 100% transparent when it comes to renting.

Nice facility, at least their newest storage unit place is except for the fact that they leave the gates open 9-5 everyday, seems like it defeats the purpose of installing an expensive security gate. They are uncompromising and unwilling to work with their customers, however. You will not come first with them.

We have rented from WHPM for about two years now, and plan on staying at least another year!We came to WHPM after having an absolutely terrible (and unsanitary) experience with a competing rental company in the area. WHPM has provided a clean and well maintained apartment that was built within the last decade. I'm so thankful we were able to find this place, especially with pets. When we first moved in, we needed help with the lock and the maintenance person responded right away and was really professional and helpful. They take cleanliness seriously, and will warn tenants who don't clean up after their pets. As a pet owner, I appreciate this.We plan on renewing our lease for at least another year, and really feel like our apartment is home.We have not had any issues with them and have recommended our apartment complex to friends and colleagues.Thank you!!-Kaitlin & Dillon Morehouse

The customer service is DEPLORABLE. They won’t call you back, when you do get ahold of them they act like you are inconveniencing them and if you actually go into the office, the employees are just sitting around seemingly doing nothing. I’m not even sure what they are paid to do.. certainly not help tenants, be liaisons between home owners and tenants or any other job duties you would assume would be assigned to them. Lazy, rude, unprofessional. Do not rent from this company. Also they will find any reason at all to charge you a massive fee. True slumlords. Hoping they go out of business.

Great group of people always kind and courteous. In my experience they have gone out of their way to work with me to solve problems in a proactive ssolution-orientedway. I have no complaints and will happily continue renting from Welcome Home Property Management.

All they do is make threats towards tenants which as an adult is extremely frustrating. If you have a small dog they can poop wherever and you won’t be punished but if you have a meadium to large size dog you will be fined $100 every time they find dog poop, even if it’s not your dog pooping you will still be fined. For all they know it could be a stray or someone who lives elsewhere walking their dog in the area. Why have pet deposits if you’re gonna be fined $100 for someone else’s dogs poop. This company is poorly ran and maintained and their problem solving skills are horrendous.
