Took my long haired cat in for a lions cut shave. He gets matted pretty badly since he keeps licking himself (probably an anxiety thing or extra comforting) and can't stop it. A few days ago it was his first time coming here. He gets extremely nervous about going to the vet but I can tell they took very good care of him! The shave was done extremely well and the price for everything done for him was very fair. I highly recommend this place! I included some photos, before and after the shave. They even recommended some products but did not push me to buy like some places do. Will be back for any other future services!!

I boarded my 6 month old black lab/ border collie mix here for a week, and she came back SO happy and content, you can tell this clinic truly cares for the animals they take care of. They did a nail trim as well and did an amazing and careful job. If you want your fur babies taken care of like you'd take care of them, I would highly recommend boarding them here.

We had planned to move our animal care to the clinic but while requesting 2 cans of cat food was told a policy made it impossible to sell to us until the pet had been seen by a vet. I asked if they could ask for a waiver but she asked the office manager who said no. When we go to a vet for services we need to feel like our pet will be treated like family. This clinic treats by policy. From hope to be clients to this is not a good place to go.

Our cat stopped eating and was losing weight rapidly. He doesn't like car rides, so I called to see if they could squeeze him in. The first visit was okay. I was told if his condition didn't improve to bring him in for xrays. He seemed to be doing better for a few days. I called again a week and a half after the first visit. The second visit was horrible! It was, again, a squeeze in appointment. I was told that whoever was available would know the case history. They obviously didn't. The student we ended up with wouldn't listen to me, treated my cat like he was just a run-of-the-mill animal (not the family member he was), and I had to argue with him to get xrays done to rule out a blockage (even though that was the reason we were there). The blood test showed very low cholesterol, and he said that was to be expected because my cat hadn't been eating, but failed to give, much less explain, any other possible reasons. He kept saying "cats of his age..." My cat was just under 5 1/2! I could clearly hear the student talking with someone (who I assume was an actual vet) and she (the "vet") said "she has two cats, so she doesn't really know if he's not eating or going to the bathroom", then he had the nerve to say my cat could have been pooping outside the box. I have had both cats since they were born, and neither one has EVER not used the litterbox. I think I know if they're pooping or not! I had a bad experience there years ago, but thought I'd give them another shot. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Our normal vet PAWs couldn’t get my blue healer in. She was having a severe pancreatitis attack. But this of course I didn’t know at the time. The animal clinic was so full all the rooms were taken, but they took care of her right out in the lobby. Sent me home with knowledge that I needed to keep this from happening again. Switching vets!

My sweet Ollie was sick unexpectedly. We rushed him to the vet as quickly as we could, but unfortunately, he passed away. The team at Animal Clinic were very compassionate and sat with us as we were learning of his death. I received a handwritten note in the mail from them. While the pain of his loss still hurts and I am still awaiting answers from WSU as to what happened, Animal Clinic has been very wonderful to work with. I am very grateful for all of their help over the years and highly recommend them. It is very apparent that they care about our pets and ourselves.

The people there are amazing, kind, gentle. They take such good care of my baby and make sure to explain everything to me even when I ask 100 questions.

When my Blue Heeler got sick suddenly, the staff here fit her in that day and performed the surgery that she needed. It was nice being able to stay in the car and have them take Koda in and bring her back out--way easier than feeling uncomfortable in a packed clinic. Will be taking my pets here for the duration.

They have taken care of my pets since 1968. Of course it was a whole different crew back then, but still they are very caring and show great compassion for my animals. They listen to what I have to say and work as a team with me to help my fur babies better and recover.

Watson was scheduled for FHO surgery this morning. He's been in a lot of pain & since we discovered he has hip dysplasia this surgery would bring him some relief. But because it is such a drastic measure & lengthy recovery, I was pretty upset & unsettled about it. Took him in this morning anyway, trying not to cry like a baby. Dr. Kuhrt just called & said she didn't have a good feeling about doing the surgery & after consulting with another vet, we are going to meet with a vet at WSU that does PT, accupuncture and underwater therapy. So relieved and grateful we have such a caring vet that wanted to do the right thing.

I only take my animals to see Dr. Masom. They had another vet, a female, who told me to put my cat down after a bad injury. Dr. Masom however wanted to work on him and was very positive. My cat survived. If I take my animals to PAWS I only go to Dr. Masom.

Dealt with SUPER INCOMPETENT vet Cassidy Cordon. Splint came off after less than 24 hours told us to "let her fly around the cage loose" when she was now out of her splint. Charged for extra medicine when poorly dispensed original meds overflowed onto bread we were supposed to feed the bird (who NEVER eats bread!) Had to take her to the local veterinary teaching hospital. They had to re-X-ray because the originals were so out of focus. They re-splinted and gave new meds. Price was one third of the Animal Clinic's Clown Doctor Cordon charges. Asked for a refund and was given garbage answers. No refund made for the unusable x-rays. Was told that Dr Bales felt that the school would re-shoot anyhow. Was told by school they would have used the x-rays had been usable. Why? Because the bird has to be knocked out in order to x-ray. Avoid this quackery called Dr Cordon. Condescending and rude. First rule of vet school: learn to be a people person. Animal Clinic burns through doctors so good ones don't stay and you do get your fair share of questionably people. Dr Cordon is a clown, the office manager called and didn't leave a message making me chase her down. Incredibly inept.
