I had a bad experience here. This hotel has bedbugs and they wouldn’t do much about it.

Rooms are small, basic functionality. Bed was nice, as one would expect from a Hilton. No carpet, but the floor looked clean. Don't know if I'd try living here, but it was fine for a night.

Convenient location, friendly staff, clean hotel… As others have said, wish there was a better breakfast variety, seems pretty spartan compared to other Hilton properties. The pancake machine is pretty slow and does get backed up. The lobby is nice and the pool table, Jenga & games were fun.Rooms: Simple and clean.Food & drinks: Large section of snacks & beverages for sale, expected more on the breakfast side compared to the cost of the stay.

The hotel is right by the busy street and an intersection. The windows, walls, doors do not dampen any sound. It was like people were drag racing outside my room all night. The staff was nice and the hotel was very clean.

This hotel is right off the freeway and easy to access. It’s not so easy coming out as there are only right turns. The internet was great—fast enough for videoconferencing. It was full but quiet. I would stay here again.

Awful room! Small, no in-room amenities. To use the very small roll-out desk, you have to sit on the edge of the bed. Very small mini-fridge. No in-room microwave, coffee, or even an ice bucket. No carpet in the room, just bare floors. No closet, just a bar with hangers. No dresser. Bare bones at a premium price. Look elsewhere. However, afternoon front desk staff was great! Very helpful assisting me to find a different hotel. Very apologetic. Check-in staff, well...

The hotel is overall nice, but slightly tired. After reading other reviews, we requested a room on the side of the hotel away from the busy road. Enter room 127… the loudest and most obnoxious room I have stayed at in any hotel. Room 127 would be best suited as a storage closet or employee break room. There is an insanely loud electric motor or pump of some sorts that runs 24/7, and at peak times it sounds like there is a waterfall running through the walls. You had to almost yell to each other to have a conversation. The ceiling and everything in the room rattles because of whatever is on the other side of the wall. If you see room 127 on your key packet, just go sleep in your car or a cardboard box outside.

My recent experience at the TRU Hilton in Meridian, Idaho, left me deeply disappointed with the level of customer service and overall quality of my stay. From start to finish, this hotel failed to meet even the basic standards of hospitality.Upon arrival, it became immediately apparent that something was amiss. The bed linen in our room was visibly soiled and clearly hadn't been changed. I promptly contacted the front desk to address the issue, only to receive no response whatsoever. Frustrated by the lack of attention, I took matters into my own hands and visited the front desk in person. To my disbelief, I was informed that there was no housekeeping crew available to change the linens. Instead, I was handed a set of linens and expected to change them myself. This is a level of service I would never have anticipated from a Hilton property. As if the bed linen situation wasn't bad enough, the disturbances continued throughout the night. A dog in a room across the hall barked incessantly, robbing me of any chance of a peaceful night's sleep. Despite my complaints, the hotel staff made no meaningful efforts to mitigate the situation or provide any assistance. The front desk staff's casual and dismissive attitude toward my concerns only added to my frustration. It was as though they considered my discomfort inconsequential and were unwilling to take any real action. In a surprising turn of events, the manager's response was perhaps the most disappointing of all. Not only did they refuse to compensate me for the subpar experience, but they also went so far as to lie about providing me with points for a free night stay at another Hilton property. Their lack of integrity only further eroded any remaining trust I had in this establishment. After reaching out to the General Manager, a resolution was only achieved after an unnecessarily prolonged back-and-forth spanning over a week. Eventually, the General Manager agreed to reimburse my account, UPDATE: it's been three days since management advised they would reimburse my account, management stated a email would be sent- no email as I write this update. This experience has left me feeling frustrated, disrespected, and utterly disillusioned with the TRU Hilton in Meridian, Idaho.I strongly advise against staying at this particular hotel. The poor customer service, lack of responsiveness, and disregard for guest comfort make for an overall unpleasant experience. There are undoubtedly better options available in the area that prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of their guests. TRU Hilton in Meridian, Idaho, should be avoided at all costs.

Nice simple rooms but the traffic is very loud. Friends had to sleep with ear plugs because of cars racing past all hours of the night.

Rooms were very simple and nothing extra or fancy. Modern furniture and design. Seemed clean and comfy to me. The A/C worked great! I had an issue with billing but I called and spoke to a pleasant young woman that was able to help me out and get things corrected right away.

This was a disappointment. Accommodations are extraordinarily basic, which is fine when staying just one night. BUT, there is a LOT of road noise and the walls are paper-thin. The air conditioner is very loud. My bed did not fit the frame, so there was a large gap and I repeatedly hit my feet and shins. The bed also made a knocking noise every time I moved; so loud, I thought someone was at my door. Basically, zero sleep. I cannot recommend and do not plan to stay at another Tru hotel ever. Honestly, I expected much better from Hilton.

I had a quick stay here while driving through Boise (Meridian) recently. I found the experience to be pretty standard, but my room was clean and comfortable, which is all I can really ask for. This was actually my second time staying here, but the first time was at the very beginning of COVID, so things were a bit different. This time, I believe I arrived around 7 PM, and was out of my room by 8 AM the next morning. I was able to check in on the Hilton app prior to my arrival, so I did not speak to the front desk, but they did greet me when I walked in. Location wise, they are located near plenty of things to do (TopGolf just down the road!), and plenty of places to eat and shop. I had no problem finding a quick meal when I got to town, or gas and coffee the next morning. I will say, because they are located on such a main road, I was shocked to see how backed up traffic was the next morning on a weekday. I believe there is a high school nearby, so I imagine that was the reason, but it did add to my travel time a little bit, just trying to find a quick way to get back on the freeway. Their continental breakfast is standard, so I just grabbed a bagel and a banana before hitting the road the next morning. Overall, I will probably stay here again the next time that I'm driving through. The location for mid-road-trip from Las Vegas to Washington is just perfect.

Enjoyed our stay at the TRU in Meridian. I've never stayed at a TRU before, and I'd definitely do it again! The rooms are plain, but comfortable. The large glass shower was wonderful. The lobby is large with a pool table and plenty of room for socializing. Lots of great snack and beverage options available for purchase in the lobby. The breakfast was typical of other mid-scale Hilton properties (like Hampton Inn or Homewood). Nice hot breakfast options. Exercise room has plenty of good options. The only complaint was that the juice was a little watered down. But the staff was impressively friendly, even at 11pm.

The hotel itself is what you would expect from the Hilton company, however this particular location is located next to a very loud intersection so I would not recommend to light sleepers. Unfortunately, the hotel was full so they were unable to move me to the quieter side of the building and I had very poor sleep for 3 nights.
