I went in a couple weekends ago and walked in, looked around, nobody asked what I needed. I did not feel welcomed and will avoid going in store in the future. Customer service needs improvement. There were about 4 workers and 2 ladies already there. It took a little while for them to acknowledge I was there, standing right by them, when I asked to get measured. I tried the size and it definitely didn’t fit so I picked another bra with a larger band size. This is when I finally asked for more help about wireless options in store. Tara helped me and she was very nice and attentive. She made up for the initial poor customer service. I’m also still waiting on an order; if they don’t have it in store, they ship it to you for free (8-14 days). I spent $140 on two vanishing 360 wireless and the sport seamless bra. The sport bra is my favorite purchase; I wear 40DDD and XXL fit perfectly. Amazing quality! It is very comfortable with moisture wicking and great for daily wear. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase.

After reading reviews I was quite nervous to go in the store. I planned to just keep my head down and get what I need. Although after walking in I was greeted almost immediately asking if I needed help finding something. Because I didn’t see my size on the floor I had to ask. The sales associate was so helpful and gathered all options for me that they had in the back in my size. We even had to do a little back and fourth for sizing. She continued to check in while I was trying options on. Everyone was very helpful and kind. The store was quite busy when I was there as well.

No customer service at all. For some reason most items over a size medium are kept in the back room. Without customer service you can't get those sizes. It's a mess. Save yourself the trouble and just order online.

I was in the Meridian Village Soma store this afternoon and felt their customer service treatment of me was somewhat lacking. I’ll say up front that the staff were busy, and I totally get that. But no one asked if they could assist me, even though they asked other shoppers. I had questions about bras and sleepwear, but I was just taking my husband home following surgery and he was waiting in the car. I live more than an hour away and had hoped I could make just a quick stop. But because they were so busy, I decided to just pick up some underpants and head out. I stood in line for a while because they were busy helping people, and a staff member said she would be right with me, but then this man walked in and just pushed himself in and asked for help, and the person started helping him ahead of me rather than asking him to please wait his turn. So I said to the person in line ahead of me that maybe I would leave and just order online, and explained why. She then very kindly and graciously insisted that I go ahead of her, and asked the cashier to please help me first. The cashier wasn’t nasty, but she obviously was very unhappy about doing that, and I’m not sure why. She was cool with me, and when I mentioned that the selection of medium-sized underpants was very low, she didn’t say anything or respond to me. She might have said thank you at the end, but I’m not sure. I did say thank you, but then thanked the other customer again profusely for her kindness. It was a small incident, but I have to admit that it has somewhat soured me in that Soma store. I understand she was busy, but she was very friendly with other customers, so I don’t understand her attitude toward me. Sometimes even small things warrant only a one-star review.

I've been in this store several times in the last few years. Customer service has always been okay for me. Not great, but okay. The quality of the underwear isn't what it once once, however. If it wasn't so comfortable, I'd look elsewhere. I got fitted for a bra several years ago and ended up with the wrong size, and it was very uncomfortable. I'm not sure that was the fault of the girl measuring me, though, as I get the same size suggestion when I enter my measurements online. I decided to give them another try for bras today, but they don't open until 11:00 now. Almost every other store in The Village opens at 10:00, and there were employees inside Soma at 10:15 when I checked. I realize that they need time to stock and such, but I think this was a poor move on part of the management. I'm not sure if I'll be back.

Great customer service. They made me feel very comfortable getting fitted and hand selecting the bras I should try out. They listened to what I was wanting and helped me find exactly what I needed.

That was the worst service ever! I have been a customer of theirs for a long time. I dont think i shop there again. Bad attitudes. I didnt even get greated except for a big loud "thank you" after I told them their service was bad after I spent roughly $300 this visit. Nothing on the sale was marked and they told me they would honor the online prices. Thats all i want to do is look up every bra and panty i picked.

tldr: Very unprofessional
I nearly cried while shopping in the store at the Village. I would have left if there were any other places to buy bras in person besides Victoria Secret. There were 4 employees working this day. I was there for about an hour and I was primarily the only shopper.
After black Friday 2023 I made it my goal to go a year without online shopping. Experiences like this make it easy to see why people would rather shop online and risk getting the wrong size than subject themselves to employees like these.
When I first walked in I got measured and given a couple of sizes to try on. The employee pulled the measuring tape so tight that neither of the sizes she suggested even fit so I still had to figure it out myself.
While browsing I over heard the same employee talking so poorly about the bodies of past customers that I was almost in tears listening to her. These included a woman going through menopause and a pregnant woman. She talked so loudly that I was able to hear her while on the opposite side of the store from where all 4 employees were standing.
After a round of trying things on the same employee asked if I needed help. I said no thanks (even if I did want help I wouldn't have wanted her to look at my body and judge me) then she said their sizes run different than other places and offered to measure me. I said no thanks but clearly she'd forgotten that she had measured be 20 minutes earlier.
A person that appeared to be the manager asked if I needed help after my third try on and again I said I'm okay, and she looked me up and down with such a judgmental expression I couldn't believe it. I actually should have left and just managed with my old bras for longer.
The employees also talked negatively to each other making crude jokes. I think they thought they were just joking around but it was very unprofessional. No matter where I was in the store I could hear them.
The next day I thought about just returning the bras but I had finally found some that fit and feel comfortable so I'm keeping them. But I have told my friends not to go there because no one should have the shopping experience I had.

Went in today for the first time! Was told they would have my size by 2 different places. I was not greeted when I walked in, wasn’t offered help, walked up to the two girls works and they didn’t acknowledge me until I said something! Then the two previous places I went measured me and they got the correct measurements and she said she needs to remeasure me, which fine but she was way off, the band was too big, the cup was too small. Then she just left me in the dressing room, didn’t see if that size was okay, didn’t even say anything when I walked out. She was standing in the back texting and when I walked in they were both texting and too busy talking to help anybody. I saw multiple people walk in and out and they didn’t notice any of them! I will never return or tell anybody to go in! I NEVER leave reviews. This is my first time leaving one ever so I was very upset!

I have come to Soma multiple times for nearly 3-4 years and the service has always been great but this last visit I was not impressed. The new manager was very dismissive and rude, and when I came in I couldn’t remember what size I was because it was a last minute decision so I figured I’d just get measured, but the manager measured me incorrectly and recommended a bra that was was to big. I ended up going online and getting a good deal on 2 bras that were actually in my size but I will be using the online store from now on.
