For over a year Option Care dispensed and administered a medication which was contradicted with another medication I take. This led to a host of medical problems, and caused irreparable damage to my body and has left me permanently disfigured. It has had an extremely profound effect on my quality of life. Then, at one appointment I was given my infusion by a trainee, and this caused my appointed to be extended by hours. This resulted in my having to drive through the night to be able to attended my Grandfather's funeral the following morning as my departure time was hours later than I had planned. Now, my appointments have been moved from Friday afternoons to Monday afternoons. I have another medical condition that requires me to plan out ever single facet of my life with excruciating detail. I had relied on the weekend to recover from my infusion. Now that I have it on Monday, I do not know how to reorganize my life so that I can be something that resembles productive. At a certain point, I have to start taking things personal. I don't know what I did to the people at Option Care, but it sure does feel like someone there has some very serious animus towards me.

I have found that option care, had been extremely difficult to work with. I won't be recieving infusions for two days due to the fact that they say, they have reached out but have not. The person on the phone was rude, and my first week of infusions almost didn't show. It took all day to get someone to figure out what was going on. I called for times because no one would return my calls. If it wasn't the only option I was given we would of gone some where else. So today we will go to the hospital for my treatment.

This infusion center has a horrible billing department. I only go there because my insurance makes me. The nurses are great and do a wonderful job! Unfortunately, the billing department and customer service are HORRIBLE. There hasn't been a year that they haven't messed up my billing! And you can't submit an inquiry you have to call, wait on hold forever and than your call is to a call center that is out sourced. Very difficult to deal with and you shouldn't have to every time you get an infusion. Absolutely ridiculous. The messed up on my most recent bill AGAIN and than the internal debate do I just pay it even though I shouldn't have to because it is a draining to try and get it fixed. But I am not rich so I will have to call again. My next stop is to report them to the BBB.

I'm about ready to return for a second round of infusions and although I'm not looking forward to it, I have the reassurance of my first experience here. The staff last time made a not so pleasant experience, more tolerable, and I was really happy with my interactions with all the staff, especially the nurses who took care of me. I was surprised to see any negative reviews but I understand that things happen, but my own time spent there was nothing less than fantastic

Mark Phillips the senior Director is guilty of slandering my wife's name at the hospital for requesting her supplies to arrive on time. He call our hospital many times and talked to providers without our permission.

Option Care uses unethical and deceptive billing practices. Avoid them at all costs. My personal example: I was told that a portion of my services were not covered by insurance. This is because although they are delivering infusions in a clinic, they are billing for infusions at home- which is not covered. If you go to an outpatient hospital setting, the services can be billed to insurance. They are selecting billing codes so that they can say the services are not covered by insurance and double dip.Problem 2 (As if that wasn't bad enough): Their words do not match what they actually bill: They told me $85 per visit on the phone. When they handed me the paperwork, they said, "This is to bill your insurance and cover the amount discussed on the phone." The paper work says $125 per visit (I'm ashamed to say that I did not notice). Then the receptionist said she was running my card for $85. However, when I left, they edited the transaction and ran the card for $125. This happened twice, where the receptionist said one amount but then billed a different amount. Now, I have a bill for $190 for a single visit. Why? Because although our WRITTEN agreement says per visit, they are actually billing by the hour. The problem? I am being billed an amount that reflects the NURSE'S TIME(every thing else is covered) for one on one service in a home. That is not what I am receiving. I am waiting on other patients and other things being done and then billed for it as though I'm not waiting for them to care for others. Keep in mind that when they are running multiple infusions, billing both insurance, AND then billing the patient for a higher quality nursing care than they are delivering, it is fraudulent.Yes, the people were friendly. They were kind and compassionate. However, the total dishonesty and being willing to SAY one thing ($85/visit), WRITE another ($125/visit), but do a completely different thing (bill an outrageous hourly amount) is shocking.

Option care has been such a blessing. The nurses are always on top of everything. They truly care about their patient's. I lost my insurance in between infusions and they let me setup auto payments that worked for my family. With my rollercoaster of insurance issues they still treated me like they always have with care and kindness. I finally got insurance figured out and i am not as stressed all the nurses are amazing. From scheduling, RN's, pharmacist and scheduling are awesome❣
