I have called all over the valley to find a part for my 99 Ranger pickup, I just spoke with the gentleman there who is one of the few who is willing to work on my problwem and help find a solution.

K@R are awesome. They work on my limos and they do a great job and at a fair price. Its the only place Ive found that can work on my limos. They’ve serviced my A/C units air bags and anything that comes up. They get me in and out fast.

I took my car here to get the ac and engine fixed, and it was in there shop for 2 weeks. Ken told me that it would take up to 4 business days to get it repaired. 2 WEEKS!!!! Once I got it back, the transmission was broken! Let alone the fact that they ordered parts to fix a completely different thing without asking. I took it to a different place to fix the transmission, but now I have my car back the ac is still broken!!!!!!! I am so upset and frustrated.

I was so tired of getting treated badly and being overcharged at other repair shops/Dealership service centers. I learned about K&R by a word of mouth referral from a coworker. She said she doesn't trust her car with anyone else. I recently had a terrible experience with Peterson Chrysler Buick service center. Unfortunately my saga with them is not over because (as I suspected) they did a poor job with the transmission replacement they did on my vehicle causing issues with the steering rack/steering column. I'll be taking my vehicle back to them to fix the mess they created... after that though. I'll ONLY be going to K&R. It's hard to find a repair shop that is professional, HONEST, knowledgeable and even kind. Ken did not charge me for looking at my vehicle and determining the shoddy work done. Truly a great company. I will be telling all my friends and family that this place should be their new repair shop.Thanks K&R for being the gold standard of what an auto repair shop SHOULD be! Cannot say enough good things.

K&R was literally my saving grace! I took my car into Christian brothers and sons and they wanted to charge me $900 for an oil pan change! K&R immediately let me know that they would take a look at it anytime, and tell me what they can see. He was amazing on the phone, and I was able to book my appointment within the week. They even let me take it in on Friday and they parked it outside for me on Saturday when they were closed so I could pick it up. They went above and beyond for me and after going to three different mechanics this was the best price I got! These guys know what they’re talking about, don’t rip you off, and do a hell of a job! I highly recommend!!!!!

Had a strange metal on metal sound start on my vehicle called around all day and Ken was the only one who could get me in without having to schedule a week in advance he did great work at a really good price and solved my issue in a day he was a good guy I’ll definitely be going back.Service: Auto brake repair

My 2012 Jeep Wrangler was leaking oil pretty bad and I was told by numerous mechanics that it was my rear main seal. Turns out it was something completely different after someone who knows what they are doing looks.I just had moved to the area from SE Idaho where you know who is a trustworthy mechanic and who is not, so I was skeptical especially sense I am a single young lady. I looked on google and came across K & R and saw that they had 5 stars so I decided to go with them. There is a reason why they have 5 stars.I cannot remember names, but both of the gentlemen there were extremely kind and transparent with literally everything. They saved the parts that the previous mechanic had screwed up to show me then took me into the shop and explained everything into great detail for me. I waited to write this review, it is now 6 months later and the Wrangler is no longer leaking oil (I know, crazy for a Jeep).I am so grateful that there is a mechanic shop like this in Meridian! I highly recommend K & R because they are honest, transparent, kind, and they actually fix things the right way the first time!P.S. they told me to bring it back if it was still leaking and they would get me in the same day...Services: General repairs & maintenance

They checked my timing belt real fast, and informed me on it and answered questions honestly. and it didn't cost me. Also learned not to trust jiffy lube on what ever they say whenever they inspect your vehicle. Thank you k&r

I just moved to the area. I took a car in to be looked at for brake noise. The shop was very honest and told me that the brakes didn't need replaced for a long while. I'm very impressed. Will definitely be going back when I need future repairs. Thanks K&R!Service: Brakes

After entrusting my car's care to another Boise-area mechanic (Mobile Tech Automotive -- don't ever use them!) that didn't resolve my issue, I decided to call K&R. I thought I needed a fuel injector replaced, and Ken quoted me less than half what the other half-dozen mechanics I had contacted in the area had quoted me for the repair. Obviously, I immediately scheduled the repair. After assessing the situation, Ken told me that the issue was an extremely fouled spark plug. My anticipated $400+ repair dissolved into a $137 charge that has my Honda Pilot running better than ever. All warning lights are off, and my gas mileage has increased immensely. It's unbelievable! So, if you want an automotive repair facility that will treat you right, call Ken at K&R Automotive. You'll be glad you did.
