This place has the rudest people in the back working here. I pulled up to drop stuff off and they said I was blocking traffic which I wasn’t as cars had plenty of room to go around. So I go around the block and there are other cars in the same spot I initially was in and they said nothing to them. They ended up not accepting my stuff because I told them how ridiculous they were being. So I went next door to drop off and these people ran over and told the guy next door working there to not take my stuff either. I explained what they did and he took my stuff. These people are rude, childish and petty. I won’t be donating here ever again.

Some of these items are from the dollar store. And they are charging 5 or more dollars ?

Love your policy of selling electronics and televisions without power cords.

It's disheartening to witness the transformation. There was a time when the essence of a thrift store was to extend generosity, especially to those of us pinching pennies to make rent and manage bills. They stood as havens where one could find reasonably priced treasures, a rare relief in a world constantly demanding more. The youth ranch's pricing, however, has become laughably exorbitant, a stark departure from their roots of affordability. Charging steep prices for items they received at no cost is a regrettable shift. Fair pricing is one thing, and I'm certainly willing to pay my share, but it's clear they've lost sight of their mission. The financial burden these stores are now imposing on their customers, many of whom depend on these affordable finds, is a worrying trend. It's a stark reminder of the growing disconnect, as the cost savings that once benefited the community now seem to be secondary to profit.

Great shop, I’ve never left empty handed. Apparel, electronics, books, kitchen stuff, art work, furniture, they have it all. Good prices. Helpful staff.

Waited fifteen minutes along with the two cars in front of me for the three guys in the back to stop farting around with stuff in boxes. Ended up giving up and taking my donations elsewhere as they didn't seem like they were gonna stop anytime soon and let us drop our stuff off.. I'm sure someone else will be happy to have two kids bikes.

Prices for used donated items are absolutely ridiculous. It used to be fun to shop or donate but Idaho youth ranch is greedy and I will not shop here again or until they come back to earth and lower their prices for God's sake

This is specifically about donating items at the Meridian location. My mom and I have separately had bad experiences. The staff at the donations are very rude. My mom pulled up and was told “I hope you didn’t just bring us junk.” No hi or anything else. I just went a week ago where a lady laughed at what I brought and said “Oh so we’re supposed to try to sell this? You’ll need to dump this yourself.” And another time I was yelled at for not putting items in specific spots, when I was trying to get things out of my car so they could get the huge line moving. We’ve agreed to take items to places anywhere else. You’d think at a site where they wouldn’t have a store without donations, they’d be nice to customers.

Very good place to go shopping right now they have everything Christmas at 70 percent off a good deal for the next Christmas season, they also have a calendar worth about six dollars and every month you have access to two coupons that you can use in the store; Furthermore, the prices are very very affordable there and the cause is to help the youth of Idaho.
Recommended for visiting and shopping.

Went to donate I called them from next-door as St. Vincent de Paul‘s donation center closed at four and the lady on the phone seemed sweet and told me that I had 10 more minutes because their donation drop off closes at 5 PM so she said come on over and so I headed right next door, pulled in the parking lot, and the lady in charge of the donation drop off area was so rude. I couldn’t believe it. I asked her if I was in the wrong spot and she told me that they cannot take any more stuff and I told her what the gal said on the phone and then she just got really pushy and snippy and we argued at the back of my car because the back of my vehicle is automatic and she kept trying to push it up with her hands. I kindly told her that’s going to break it and she told me she didn’t have to take my stuff. I try to explain to her that , I didn’t appreciate the rudeness and I was just trying to donate some really nice stuff to them. She eventually apologized for her snappiness and told me it had just been a long day. I asked who she was. She stated she was the manager. I understand we all have hard days, but to take it out on people that are merely just wanting to donate to your organization is probably not the smartest when this is what keeps your business thriving. Needless to say, I will never donate to this place again I will go elsewhere.
