DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY- A BUNCH OF CROOKS: I had a technician for this company come to the house of a former neighbor of mine that I look after. Her furnace wasn't working and I don't know much about them so I called to get it fixed. I was quoted 3000 dollars for a band aid fix and 6000 dollars to replace. My 85 year old neighbor doesn't have that kind of money so we couldn't get it fixed. Something didn't feel right to me so I called another company for a second opinion. The second company came out, looked it over and even tested the carbon monoxide output and even thing was fine- good enough for another season. The good tech said all he had to do was turn it on. He didn't charge my neighbor a dime!!!! Shame on this company for trying to take advantage of an 85 year old woman!

Mike Sellers was exceptionally great tech for my mom when she just out of surgery. He checked everything thoroughly put new filter in. And even looked at her water heater. To say how to fix it. She has had no hot water for a couple weeks.
He was so congenial and kind. We so appreciate his thoroughness. Great customer service I would recommend him.

Andy showed up within an hour or two of my conversation with our call for service this Monday morning. Another local HVAC service provider said they couldn't come until sometime the next day, between 8am and 6pm. Andy was very professional, personable and informative, happy to answer any questions I had about our older, broken HVAC system. Once he diagnosed the problem, Andy provided a number of solutions. He understood that because of the age of our system and that we will likely replace it in the next few years and that we don't want to invest too much in it now, Andy offered a simple, more cost- effective solution to get our air conditioning working again. Based on our experience, we would recommend using Idaho Heating and Air.

Absolutely positive experience from the first phone call I made through final inspection. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing this type of work. Our AC went out on a week it was in the 100's every day. I was a brand new Customer and felt well taken care of from the first call. The initial call to the office I got a real person (a plus these days). I was so stressed but just talking with her made my day better. She was able to have someone out that same morning. Great service troubleshooting from the smallest problem up. Ultimately we needed a new unit. Not surprising, we've been waiting for it. Our HVAC system in my once new home was 18 years old. He explained everything he tried in detail along with his findings. Within an hour, an associate was out taking measurements and providing a quote. We got an excellent deal with choosing to replace our entire system: AC, Water Heater and Furnace. I wasn't sure we could afford it, but he took as much time as we needed reviewing all of our options and potential plans. There was no pressure at all.
Financing was available. Everyone's financial situation is different, however, we were able to finance for 10 years with payments that worked for us. No penalties if we can pay it off sooner! All of this happened on a Friday, they were able to install our entire new system the following Monday. Excellent, professional, informative service from these gentlemen, as well. They ended up needing to pour a new concrete pad for the AC - this was NOT an additional charge. Their work was done by early afternoon. You wouldn't even know they were here. Not a speck of the old system or trash anywhere. They provided an awesome walkthrough at the end. With the package we purchased, they offered us a free duct cleaning and CO2 detectors both upstairs and downstairs. The ECO friendly new thermostat is amazing and will save us lots of money the way it works and syncs with our power provider. We had our final inspections today and we were so surprised when they brought a beautiful gift basket for us with the final paperwork. Everyone we talked to and anyone who touched this project for us was the ABSOLUTE BEST. They'll have my business for life!! Thank you for everything - the extra really matters!

Today July 21, 2024 had scheduled maintenance service on our Air Conditioner by Andy from Idaho Heating and Air. Outstanding customer service from Andy. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and had an outstanding work ethic. Completed this scheduled maintenance in a timely matter and sat down and thoroughly explained some suggestions on keeping our Air Conditioner in excellent shape. Idaho Heating and Air is lucky to have him. His performance will keep us customers of Idaho Heating and Air

Our AC unit stopped working overnight during this final heat wave stretch. Called Idaho Heating and Air first thing in morning, they had us scheduled for an appointment time within a few hours. Andy serviced our AC unit and did a phenomenal job of explaining everything to us and getting our AC working within an hour. We look forward to our maintenance program. Great experience!

It's 105 degrees on Friday and my A/C goes out (suspect furnace problem). The first HVAC company we called canceled the appointment and said they only will do mornings for furnace issues that are in the attic and rescheduled for Monday. Idaho Heating & Air comes to the rescue and sent out Joe who had no problem going into the hot attic and finding the issue, and getting my system up in running within an hour. Joe was timely, professional, and super helpful! Thanks again Joe and Idaho Heating & Air
