I have tried so many times to even do Walmart and I'm always disappointed because I know my prices at WinCo are cheaper and I'm a single income with a family of four and money's tight . I feel really good going to winco knowing that I'm not going to get overpriced. The quality of the produce is good.”
“First time in this store usually visit the Nampa Store. This one appears to be neater and more organized but maybe it was just the excitement of visiting for the first time. I did notice more modeen refrigeration unit versus a cold room but I have no preference. They had DaVinci coffee syrups on sale for about $1.40 less so bought more of those than I had planned.”

“found everything I needed. Out fast. Prices are going up up get rid of the democrats. 10-18-23 I went into Albertsons to get a few things. I went back to get some lunch meat and I stood there for about 3 to 5 minutes and none of the people ever acknowledge me. I was a little bit of a hurry so I left.”

I appreciate their willingness to help when you're unsure of options available and willingness to get a prescription filled at the last minute due to unforseen circumstances. “The best place to get European groceries in Boise! They had most of the items I was looking for. It would be nice if they carried monastery kvas but I did settle for what they had. I like that taste better than kombucha. Check it out if you crave Ukrainian foods!”
“Great customer service at their bakery! I wasn't happy with the original cake, but it had already been paid for and taken home. So they decorated a new cake on short notice (which looks great by the way) and sold it to me with a heavy discount. I really appreciate it.”
“Not your typical grocery store! This place is huge with a grocery selection that has just about everything, the kicker is a phenomenal food court with something for everyone, a Starbucks and a full bar with cocktails, wines and large selection of beers on draft. Customer service is friendly & fast with decent prices. The bar has an outdoor patio, live music some nights and Wednesday trivia nights. My only suggestion would be that they wall it off from the store a little more.”
“Nice big Albertsons with friendly staff. Usually never packed with people. They have a great sushi bar selection. Starbucks inside with a seating area. Bakery area is pretty decent with huge selection of donuts and baked goods. Good size meat selection with a good variety. Great alcohol selection from a lot of local breweries and wineries. As always their Fresh Tortillas are a must buy.”

Because of that type of customer service. When I am in town, I go out of my way to shop there.”
“Initially Marisa helped us when we were looking for a wedding band. She was very knowledgeable and much more helpful than the young man we spoke to at Kay Jeweler's in the mall. She offered several options, was very patient with us trying on things and let me know about an upcoming sale that would save us money. When I returned to purchase my bands, Lori (assistant manager) was the only one there. She was very helpful, personable and called the leasing place after I had questions that she wasn't able to answer. I left confident, taken care of and happy with my purchase!”
“It's Walmart. As an 80s kid, I prefer K-mart. Staff is helpful. Self checkout registers are suspect. They tell me my card isn't accepted, chip or magnetic slide, then it works on the 4th attempt. Maybe Skynet? This is the year Kyle Reese says it happens. Food prices and selection will never beat Winco. Electronics department employees are very helpful and good to deal with.”
“I love Fred Meyer, I mean common they were the only "General Store" in Idaho until Walmart (which was looked at as an oddity. It was late 1999 or 1998 when Walmart came to Boise. Fred Meyer has always had quality products, household, housewares, furniture, decor, clothing, intimates, fantastic produce, meat, deli, and ahead of all the little pop ups when it comes to the new trend in consumer food products "vegan", "organic", "gluten free" and they continue to grow and remain the front runner. Their prices were beet by Walmart before Covid if one does not utilize the reward system, ads, coupons; both electronic and paper. I save more and get better products from a Northwest local supply chain supporter with amazing products and service. You have to utilize your rewards and don't miss the Founders sale. We actually on vacation went to the first Kroger (and still the corporate store) in Oregon. It's multi level and awesome. I love FM. Two of three of my children work for the company. They started while in high school. They are great employers as well.”
“It's Walmart. But then, all Walmarts are not the same. Two things that I find extraordinary about this Walmart. The Arts and Crafts section will put Joann Fabric and Hobby Lobby to shame. At least for the things that I need. Cricut stencil working material vinal and tons of other crafting items. I didn't think Walmart invested so much in that but this one does. This Walmart is exceptionally cleaner than most that I've seen and the staff are knowledgeable of all ages working together doing a great job. Generally Walmart gets a three or four for me but if five is good.”

“This review is for the jewelry department. I'd been on the hunt for the perfect wedding band for a few months now with nothing really jumping out at me. It also doesn't help that some salespeople at higher end places are too pushy and the prices too high. My fiance and I stopped by here on a whim and after we bought some skyr and fruit and I worked with Lucas. We tried a few on but nothing was looking/feeling right for me then he suggested the one I went with. We had to check and see if the size I needed was available. The system was down so he took down my name and number and he gave me a call to tell me yes it could be ordered in my size. I asked Lucas when he was working next to make sure he got commission.Went in today and Lucas wasn't there but the manager Josh made sure Lucas got credit for the sale and we had some laughs a good conversation while we waited for the computer to print everything out. I can tell the people working this department are well taken care of and I hope upper management recognizes Josh and Lucas for their enthusiasm and hard work.Also, a ring and some groceries and still cheaper than shopping at Albertsons.”
“I have more trouble with the people in the parking lot then the store itself. Employees are relatively helpful but nothing outstanding as it is self checkout and there is little interaction. Good store to buy pretty much anything from.”
“I recently switched to Fred Meyer from Walmart and I absolutely love it! I will never go back to Walmart again. FM has super friendly staff, they still have clerks, and they have a good amount of sales and deals every day. Thanks guys for being so great! ....except for that guy that gathers carts that always has the mask on... You're rude AF”

“Early bird misses the traffic jam in store. It's always something to keep in mind to go between 8am-10am and after 5pm, otherwise it can be a chaotic nightmare with customers up and down the aisles. Always has great selections and employees are speedy at checking you out.”
