Fred myer always has what I need and a great selection of items to choose from. I don't interact with the staff often enough to comment on them but I always see the employees working hard. I come to Fred myer for produce specifically and end up leaving with more than I need.

Great store but they need to get rid of someone named Miles, a clearly biologically male transexual who is always in a horrible mood. The first time I met him, I needed to find some item so I asked him, trying to be friendly because so many people in that community complain about being discriminated against, but he was extremely rude to me and my 12 year old daughter. That's what I get. I suppose. I thought maybe he was just having a bad day. Nope. Every time I've been there since, he has been surly to customers. Fred Meyer is more expensive than Winco right across the street. One way they could justify their higher prices is better customer service, not hiring someone who clearly has psychological problems.

Sunday 2/25....at Meridian Fairview Store....11:00a. Bought the 4pack of Pecan Sticky Buns. They looked fresh, properly dated, and loads of pecan sticky topping. Monday morning...had one with my coffee. The underside (that you can't see until plated), was way, way, way overbaked. The 1 minute at 20% power on my microwave did nothing but warm a burnt mess from the bakery. Clearly overcooked at the store. Cover up a burnt sticky bun with loads of pecans.....and they will sell......at least to first time buyers. Yeah WINCO.Fred Meyer......these sucked. You basically stole my $6. Shame on you

The store is good. This review is solely for the bakery. One woman in particular, she does the cake decorating, an older lady. All I can say is rude rude rude. She either hates her job, or hates people. She has a piss poor attitude. I took my business elsewhere.

I got to the pharmacy tonight two minutes before 8pm which is when they are supposed to close. I know that’s a CLOSE call but I work 15 hour days right now. I am completely out of my medication and couldn’t pick it up because they closed early.

If I could rate no stars I would. I walked up to customer service today to return 4 items.I said to the boy that was working there "I only have a few items to return" his response " It doesn't look like a few items, really?" He then went on "what? some overspending on Black Friday?" I only had another full basket I had just purchased in front of him. Rude!!! I will never shop at this store again ans he should never be working at the customer service desk.

Cross-dresser working there, confused my seven-year-old and invoked some peculiar questions for someone his age. Seems impossible to keep your kids young these days…

When I moved here several years ago the Fred Meyer on Chinden was a highlight. Staff was always friendly, energetic, and helpful. Today I have made the decision to head over to Albertson's rather than shop at Fred Meyer. Over the past few years this store is often under-stocked, under-staffed, and employees seem just plain indifferent. Employees in the deli are careless and sloppy when slicing and packaging meat. I gave up on the deli and started buying prepackaged brands. There has been a decided fall off over the past three years, but I have hung in there. Today though will be my last trip. Once again, there are just too many under-stocked shelves, not enough checkers, etc. I am going to head over to WinCo, and use Albertson's as well. This store was outstanding 4 or 5 years ago. Today it has slipped below mediocrity in this consumer's opinion.

Bought a cutting board here too that’s starting to fall apart, after only 1 month. The positive side is it’s a nice store with everything you need. But the $7 sun dried tomatoes was the last straw. Overpriced.

A full 30 minutes before the store closes and I'm told there's not enough time to try on anything unless I throw the things I don't want over the door to the waiting female employee who will then run like lightning to put them back on the rack. The manager who came up with the idea feels it's more important to get things back on the rack than actually make a sale. The ironic thing is when I entered the store he was lecturing someone on being professional and not bringing personal problems to work. A. As a manager you shouldn't ever discuss things like they were discussing when customers or other employees are around. B. Don't rush customers. Especially when there's plenty of time left. And C. Practice what you preach.

Absolutely amazing experience today at this location. The manager Erik/Eric went out of his way to find items, price match with Fred Meyer website, then load the items all in 104 degree weather without being asked and while other employees were short tempered and upset about the heat, this manager took charge and owned the experience from start to finish to make sure we were happy!
