Employees are rude. Can’t even walk through the store because the freight boxes are literally blocking the entire isle. Waited for 20 minutes at the deli before I got help. Also, what’s the purpose of your hairnets again? (See photo)

Epic experience while digging through the “dead cake” area. I spotted an illustrious (what I have named) “Phteven Cake” and promptly fell apart laughing with my daughter (see pic) upon closer inspection. I think perhaps they are training new bakers but whomever made this masterpiece should be on Netflix’s The Next Best Dessert show. Not only is the color true to form but the size and shape of the teeth : perfection. I can barely tell the difference between the cake and the real deal! I can’t understand why this cake was on sale. $12.41?? Such a steal! Far better than the baroque styled raspberry monstrosity melting beside it. Should you need some real artistry and dedication put into your pastries, look no further. Fred Meyer bakers have you covered.

I've been going to this Fred Meyer for a decade and I can't think of a negative experience I've had here. I've only ever shopped for groceries, so I can't comment on the other side of the store, but I rarely, if ever, run into out-of-stock issues and employees are always friendly and helpful, and their produce section is particularly great. Also, I recently started using their pharmacy when the Rite-Aid on Main St closed and they're fantastic. My one complaint is that the deli and bakery area on the side, as well as the whole back area (mainly the dairy) is very crowded because they pack any extra space with a cluttered mess of floor displays which can cause bottlenecks with the presence of some of the less self-aware shoppers.

Just a little constructive criticism. My mantra remains the same, no matter where I live. Be honest. Be truthful. Be ethical. Be transparent. These four legs form a well balanced structure, like a four-legged chair. Take away one of those legs, and the chair collapses. So, when you advertise a price, you need to live by it. No, you do not have a disclaimer that contradicts your advertisement. Example: You are selling a bag of potato chips for $3.99; however, in the fine print, you say "Must purchase three bags." When the customer cashes out, and looks at his receipt, he will discover that he has been charged $5.99. Not a big deal? Think again. You have destroyed your customer's trust, something that is as valuable to your long-term prospects as a priceless heirloom. Just ask the executives at Sears or K-Mart, or Blockbuster. Honest, Truth, Ethics & Transparency is the recipe for success. Lack of even one of these principles is a prescription for failure.

I forgot my Driver's license when I was going to cash my check. So I grabbed my US Passport.Stormy was extremely rude, told me. No, they won't cash it with a Passport when it clearly. States on the counter in writing that passports are accepted. Wasted about twenty minutes of my time. Rude people should not be in customer service
