“Recently I went to the Franklin Branch MACU after being turned away for a mortgage on a new primary home. I spoke with the loan officer Jake. He was extreamly friendly and professional. He explained that MACU would be able to get that mortgage approved and funded in an unheard of 15 days (short closing). They bent over backwards all the way to the day before closing and got it all done. I can't say enough about MACU and Jake, they are incredible. I got my family and friends to become members of this credit union as a result. I would give them 6 stars!”

Some of the poor reviews seem to be about someone on a customer care line, not this actual branch. This branch is large and beautiful inside, and adequately staffed at least when I was there. “I found my ICCU experience very pleasant; super easy and convenient.I called, prior to visiting a location near my home, to find out what documentation was needed to establish a new checking account for an estate. The person on the phone had that information readily available and let me know I could either go to one of the branches or I could conveniently make those changes over a video call, in the comfort of my own home. Seriously, THANK YOU ICCU For creating that experience for your customers. BIG shout out to the young lady (KRoss) who helped me on the video chat. She knew what she was doing and she did it efficiently. This was the best experience I’ve ever had with a financial institution, by far. For an embarrassing amount of time, I have intended to move my accounts to a local credit union (WM), but I dreaded the process so I put it off (the finest example of avoidance). Because my experience with establishing the first account was so incredibly painless, I opted to also open a personal account for myself, which is something I likely would not have done with the experience I was expecting to have.
