I love them my favorite place to take my cockatoo for a trim and food! She’s very wonderful and friendly. I also recently found out that they deliver yay!

She abuses her birds, one time I was in the store she took a parrot out and she plucked out 10 feather because the parrot was being loud. Birds are supposed to be loud and playful, but she abuses all her birds. This store should be shut down!

Pretty disappointing that we drove all the way from kuna to find out that they are open by appointment only. Nowhere other than on their doors does it say appointment only. Please fix your business page.

I live about 45 minutes from Meridian. So, I looked up this place to make sure they were open because we really need a few supplies, and going into town is quite a drive for us. After seeing their open hours on Google Maps, Yelp, and my husband checked on his iPhone, we drove on in. I was surprised to find that they are not open: there are hand written signs on the front saying only open by appointment and to call the number. I did and no answer, and I didn't leave a message because it sounded like I had to make an appointment way in advance. I still haven't figured out how I am supposed to make an appointment when there's no information posted online showing you how to do it. At least I don't see it on the website and I just looked again to make sure. No business hours anywhere on the site. I'm very frustrated because we would have saved the gas and time driving to Meridian. I was excited to try this place because our other regular parrot store in Boise is closed for the holiday. But I will never come here again because of this. It's not professional to be closed when everything says you are open. We will stick to our other regular parrot store. They are great about their hours; it's right at the beginning of their website, where this type of information should be posted. We just wasted a lot of time and gas for nothing, and I will share this with my Oregon parrot group so they know not to drive to this place because they aren't really open. My parrot group friends and I are super bird nerds; we spoil our feathered babies. While I am not one to talk about money, I will break my rule here and say that we enjoy spending a lot of time and money on our babies (no human babies = I enjoy spending too much money on my feather babies). Because we don't come to Meridian/Treasure Valley very often, I needed to stock up on quite a few items, and I wanted to spread the love to support another local business. Thus, they would have made quite a pretty penny off of me, but I will spend my money elsewhere because this store isn't really open.

Poorly operated business with inconsistent business hours. Their website says NOTHING about how they're ONLY open by appointment, which is not professional since operating hours should be front and center. I looked at their website, plus Google and Safari, and all reflected their operating hours. So, I drove 25 minutes one way, only to find that they don't adhere to the hours posted online/on their business page and they're only open by appointment. After I drove the 25 minutes home, I finally found their Facebook page and a post about how they're really not open, but again, not professional. For those of us who find social media to be a soul-sucking void of meaninglessness affirmation, it's not a professional way to notify customers of your business hours. I also see their website is loaded with very expensive parrots for sale, with lots of babies. I think it's really sad to keep breeding babies when there are so many parrots in need of good homes. Parrots are the most re-homed pets in the country. I know businesses respond to demand, but it wouldn't hurt to educate people about the fact that any parrot - big or small - needs a ton of love and attention, plus a significant amount of specialized knowledge and understanding. It's sad to see another business profiting off of animals - half of which will probably be re-homed because people don't really know what they're getting into; many think parrots, including small birds like lovebirds, cockatiels, and budgies, are low maintenance pets that don't need much attention/time, or specialized knowledge and training. It's actually the opposite. I will never come to this place again.

Brought my daughter because we are interested in purchasing a bird for our family. She was very excited only to find out you have to make an appt the store is not open to the public. We drove all this way and the gentleman working inside wouldn’t even budge in letting us look. There is absolutely no where that it’s posted they are not open to the public but by appt other than their front door. Very disappointing!

It's 3:33pm on Sunday July 23rd. Machine & online states open until 4pm Sunday's yet here I am next to your building that is closed. This is not the first time this has happened. Thanks for wasting my time & gas. Not a very professional way to run a business. If something happened to require you to be closed during normal business hours you could at least update your voice-mail answering machine for that day! I likely won't bother getting my African Grey's stuff here anymore.

We experienced such kindness here! We just stopped in for a bumper sticker and for my toddlers to visit with the birds. The lady working there was so sweet with my kids and explained to us about the birds we visited.
