Horrible Horrible Horrible organization. I have a stack of complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau including dates and times I spoke with an employee in Ashburn VA kinda odd given that was one of the locations someone tried accessing my now closed X formerly Twitter account.

Avoid this place at all costs. There is a guy there (Brandy Riddle) who takes bribes from multibillion dollar companies and prevents complaints from going through, claiming that the consumer had no resolution in mind, even when a complaint is valid according to the Better Business Bureau’s policies. This guy has been working with The Pokémon Company International in a scandal trying to hide evidence about the company’s characters Zekrom, Reshiram, White and Black Kyurem) looking like a disturbing group.

I complained to them about a company and they immediately closed it as information only. I do not get a response from the BBB or the company. People around here are just pencil pushers who can’t do their jobs. The Better Business Bureau does not care about consumers.

I submitted a complaint against a company and it was getting taken care of until an employee tampered with my complaint and got it closed. This BBB will do its best to hide your complaint.

If companies actually care about their reputations, this site can be useful. If they don't, then it won't. One complaint I submitted, that had to do with a bad timing belt replacement job, that was more than a year out on my vehicle and subsequently wrecked a portion of my engine was not allowed to be posted because the business done with said shop was more than a year out. Bad deal. What about other pricey things, such as I dunno... solar panel installation? That policy only helps the wrong doers, not the consumers and isn't that what the BBB is supposed to be all about?

Company name DaBella. We had windows installed in August and one of the windows was installed broken they told us it would be replaced within a coupe of weeks. 2 months later and many phone calls we are still waiting. They give us excuses or make promises but so far no results.

The Better Business Bureau is a dinosaur. The historical success of the non-profit is based on a time long past where consumers were unable to share reviews easily online. The organization struggles to maintain relevance in a fast moving digital world. They also reached out to my business in an attempt to "sell their product" and can't even return my calls.

A customer has weaponized the review feature in an attempt to damage our company because they want money back. The review was full of lies intended to damage our reputation. This reviewer attempted to do the same with the insurance company and it was shown that we were in the right. I provided objective proof to BBB and they won't take down the review because "it was that customers experience." With that information in hand, the BBB has become complicit in the defamation. Additionally, it took them almost three months to approve and post my response to that customer. I had to call and threaten to sue them to get it posted.

Unfortunately this BBB doesn't do much. All a company has to do is respond with anything and they immediately close it and say "business addressed issue, customer not satisfied". I also question the ethics of some of their practices. I immediately got a ton of spam after giving them my email and phone number. I get the feeling they're selling my personal info in the name of "verification".

Right Now Heating and Air Conditioning have done a great job for me. They installed an air conditioner for me last year and a water heater this year. Their customer service and sales team are the very best. Thanks Brent for helping me with my water heater. I would highly recommend this company for all your heating and air-conditioning needs. And they sell water heaters too! ??

I needed help. They opened the door for me....so thankful for their help. Very nice and helpful. They gave me some ideas... I decided to file a crime report with the Meridian Police Department against Verizon for giving a iPhone from my Verizon account to an unknown person and charging it to my account. Plus Verizon didn't check their ID before giving the phone. Who does that??? Verizon does!!

The Better Business Bureau is a JOKE!A past customer, who has owed us money for 2 years and was sent to collections, retaliated against us and filed a complaint with the BBB. After providing numerous forms of documents proving this person was lying, the BBB "Resolution Consultant" told us that they would still have to have it appear in our BBB Business Review. Hmm, doesn't sound like they have ANY business's best interest in mind. I've included their definition of their services at the end of this complaint. Basically, they are NOT an investigation agency or an enforcement agency. However, they have no problem treating you as if you're guilty, even if the allegations against you are false. Even when they "encourage" people to be truthful, they have no means of proving whether the accusations are true or false.BBB is a neutral, third-party reporting agency that reports on how companies respond to complaints from their consumers. Our role is to facilitate communication between businesses and consumers by providing a neutral forum for discussion. During the conciliation process, BBB works to ensure all issues within our scope are addressed by the company. BBB is not an investigation agency or an enforcement agency.BBB reviews and processes complaints that meet our complaint acceptance policy, which is set forth by our Council of Better Business Bureau. When submitting a complaint or review we inform both parties that they each are responsible for the content submitted. BBB encourages both parties to be truthful and factual in the information provided. As a neutral third party, we are unable to determine if a breach of contract has occurred, or if either party is being untruthful. As a public reporting agency, it is BBB's mission to report on consumer complaints and the way companies respond to them. In the United States, BBB's right to develop and issue profiles is protected by the First Amendment, which guarantees the freedom of speech and freedom of the press. It would be untruthful to remove a complaint that fell within our complaint acceptance guidelines as it would be an ethical violation of our mission and standards.
