Went to see what deals they had at their going out of business sale. Had been wanting curtains for my patio door. Found curtains and a rod for $35!! They look great!!

Still was cheaper to go elsewhere than here, even with "40% off". There's been studies on these things and still shows that businesses and patrons are the reasons why these studies exist to show everyone what stupidities still tells us.It's always a joke when places are going out of business.

As we all know the Meridian BBB is closing, going out of business. The store is getting pretty bare, items are at 50%.

I’ve got to say… there’s a reason this place is going out of business. They are so overpriced. I went in to check out the going out of business sale and was disappointed. The sign advertises up to 40% off. Emphasis on UP TO, I suppose. I’d say 75% of the store was only 10% off their already outrageous prices. 20% of the store was 20% off. And there was only about 5% of the store that was 40% off. Even the items that were 40% off only put the purchase price at a reasonable sales price… you can find the exact same brands and selection on Amazon, at Walmart, Target, TJ Maxx, etc for a fraction of the price. Seems like they’re still being greedy even when going out of business. They will not be missed.

I know their closing so this doesn’t mean much, but what company stops the use of gift cards when they are closing. No wonder your going under…absolutely trash

A once thriving store with quality merchandise has gone completely downhill. Went in looking for a few items, what a complete waste of time. The small amount of merchandise they do have is poor quality with high prices. The whole feel of the store is depressing. It used to be fun to go and browse, but whoever at corporate is in charge of buying the merchandise, the store layout and employee morale, is totally missing the mark. No wonder they are shuttering so many stores.

Great place preparing to close.Inventory on hand thin. Workers looked like they work in a morgue. Very dead feeling. Did not have what we were looking for in stock, but were willing to order specific items for us.

Everything was extremely expensive when you could buy the same stuff for cheaper in other places but I really like the layout of the store

Not much to see here. The shelves were kinda bare and the item I saw online was not in the store. I know why the one o Federal Way is closing.

Ok, lemme try this again. Last week I wrote a review and it was removed (huge eye roll) I think I said a bad word or something. Who knows. EDIT! I now see last week's review on here, but I'll keep this one on here just in case it's not actually on here but rather in a separate folder because I "would NOT recommend this business to people" lolI will start by saying, Bed Bath and Beyond was THEEE store back in the day. It seems after Amazon shot up to superstar status many stores just gave up, except Walmart and Target. Bed Bath & Beyond EASILY could have fought for the spot in the top lineup if they wanted to. Ok, 1) in the past, this store was PACKED with merchandise! Every section drew you in to look at everything. I have photos on here from back before the ridiculous remodel. Present day, the shelves are so empty. They have everything pushed to the front and spread out to make it look like they are fully stocked. It's very sad. Again, look at the past pics vs the pics I took a few weeks ago. 2) in the past, the second you'd walk in, you'd immediately be greeted by more than one employee and they were always eager to help you. Present day, you walk in, you turn your head to the right and see the customer service desk. You'll also see 3-4 employees standing at the desk. Do they greet you? Nope. Why? .... Their cell phones are more important. We can't miss them funny TikToks now can we? Do any employees offer to help? Nope! Why? Well for starters, there were more employees in the store than customers so you'd THINK you'd get greeted and helped, but nah...phones and whatever else lol. It was all very odd. And 3) in the past, as mentioned above, the store had literally EVERYTHING! It was so full of all kinds of stuff. So much so that you had to check out every section even if you weren't looking for random things in these sections. Present day, this remodel! Gooood lawwwd! What did they do to this store?! This remodel did more damage than it did repair. Every brand new home is boring gray and white and "oPeN cOnCepT!" They thought...hmm! Maybe we should do that to our stores too!! No! No, honey! Who thought this was a good idea?? They should never remodel again! The gray and white is as played out as much as the ridiculous open concept. Thanks HGTV! (eye roll)You walk in and can basically see everything from the front door. Literally NO section draws you in the way they did just a few years ago. Now, all you have to do is stay in the main aisle and you can basically see everything from there. It's almost like they do not want you there. It's very sad to see a once powerhouse store wither away to .... this. The corny open concept, no product, employees who clearly hate their jobs and working with the public, the stale "neutral tones/colors" etc. again, very sad. It's like walking into a..ok, you know when like Pennys or Sears would close a store and they'd have a "MASSIVE CLOSE OUT SALE!" That's what this place looks like. Like a giant discount store except, it's still in business and it's not by any means a... discount store. I'm convinced this store survives because it's on Eagle Rd. So they get JUSSSST the right amount of customers to just get by for the day/week/month. Boises location just announced 2 days ago they're closing up. I'm honestly surprised they didn't announce Meridian as well. Again, im so sorry and sad to see such a great store turn into what it has. The employees! Man! If y'all don't like the public, not even a tiny bit to say "hello! Can I help you find anything?" Then why y'all work with the public? I worked retail for years. Even on my bad days, on anyone's bad day, you can always fake a smile and help the customers, because that's what you were hired for. This store/business REALLY should have tried harder to keep its spot in the selection of stores to get great products at. It's sad they thought...ooooh! A

I'm fine with Self Checkout, but not when there slow and the lady won't help me. If your going to force self checkout; have employees to help facilitate the change. This use to be such a nice store, and had helpful employees.

I went to this store for a new pillow. To be honest I found that it was over priced and I couldn't afford a pillow from this store. But me and my wife found a killer deal of some sheets. A 50 dollar set for 12 bucks. So if u want a deal go here and look and maybe could find one but as far as anything else I feel their prices are too high. But if u had the money to afford what they have the quality is very good.

Unhelpful, entirely.Selection decent enough, but boring. The floor management seems unwilling to want people to come in.I was followed around like a less endearing version of “Pretty Woman,” and it was clear they thought I was going to steal from them.If I didn’t need a new bed set right now, I wouldn’t have bought anything. The bald man who runs the floor needs a therapist with how clearly upset at life he behaves. And the retention specialist was visibly terrified when it was clear I had no intention of stealing while I wasn’t granted self checkout privileges. This is a chain that deserves to have no customers. There is a reason only little old ladies shop here.
