“I have had, through the years, a couple of need for problems. The largest one was a stuck valve in our "guest" bathroom during flushing the toilet. It happened, when I had just that week broke my ankle, and the water was slowly flowing onto the floor. I was unable to turn off the water for the house as it was only through an opening in our bedroom closet. It was about 4 feet down, so I asked my wife and helped her down into the crawl space. She was unable to turn-off the valve, so I used my walker to walk with my leg plaster cast into the garage, and retrieved a hand ranch. I then went into the bathroom tried to close it by leaning against my walker and got a good grip on the valve. I happened to slip because the walker wheels slipping caused my full body weight that transferred to my strong grip on the ranch, and it stopped water leaking. In the meantime we called a plumber, but in the while the water flooded the bathroom, hallway and two bedrooms. About an hour later the plumber arrived. Surfpro was called and through the process Allstate worked with them with the details. They were excellent in their diagnosis of what had to be done. The insurance was paid with our deductible and Surfpro was paid. Allstate did a fine job too.

About twelve years ago we were hit in the door where I drove on a major intersection when the green light turned on. I looked and saw a few cars in the right lane and didn't rush, so continued on with looking and was smashed by a car that ran the red light going about 50mph. We all survived and the driver was declared 100% liable. I was impressed with Allstate when they took charge and would be paying all costs with the young man's policy. I was not pleased when I began communicating with his insurance company. Regardless, they took a lot of time and we had to go to the hospital to be checked and had no charges. The payment for the total damage was over the "Kelly book" charges and were pleased with that. Again, Allstate was supportive even though another organization was Liable.

They helped cover me when I was making a turn a car going around me cut- in early and his back side and my left front were dented. We both went to our insurers as we were not able to determine just why this happened. I went to the Larry Miller Collision establishment. I had to wait two-plus months and used our second car during this time. Again, Allstate was supportive and I of course paid my required costs. Sorry for the details, but we have used Allstate for over 25 years.”

They’ve always given great advice on ways to save $ since I’ve insured a camper and home since being with them. Never pushed me to spend more than needed. Clark him self tents to call me personally once a year just to see if he make changes to save me money.
