Super rude counter personnel. They make it sound like they are doing you a favor and it’s a huge burden on them to help you. I can’t believe they have a job. They should remember the people they are helping pay their wages.

I would note this review isn't the employees fault. The USPS is just a mess since they aren't funded and can't operate effectively. Too few employees to operate effectively, and the lack of funding spills over into everything they do.Vote to make USPS funded again folks. Most people assume the Fed pays for it but they don't. USPS is self-funded by congressional mandate. They are run like a business, but also have to meet some exceptionally weird benefit requirements that leave them in the red. It's like the worst of government intervention and private business combined to be one super-ineffective service.Please vote to fund the USPS folks. It doesn't have to be this bad.

Worst experience ever. Three of the clerks are extremely rude. We order a lot of stuff on Amazon that gets directed to the post office. When we go to get it, one clerk says “we don’t hold it. It is against the law to delay mail.” The others say they hold the mail for 48 hours but won’t go look for the packages if they are busy. Another one keeps saying you have to get a mailbox so this doesn’t happen. I am glad to get a Mailbox I just don’t like being treated rude every time I go in there. I dread going to the post office in McCall

My husband has to leave work multiple times every month, usually weekly or more to pick up mail or packages that they won't deliver. Always marked as "held at customer request", which it isn't. The lady I've spoken to on the phone is very polite and lovely...but I've just never experienced a mail delivery service - that we pay for and that they are paid for - not actually deliver mail so frequently. It's unacceptable.

Ever since moving here we’ve had nothing but issues with the post office. Inconsistent with delivering packages. We live in the back of our business and they won’t deliver when we’re closed which is fine but when we went to talk about getting things delivered the older lady working there was very critical and losing her patience. We’ve dealt with losing packages, things not being delivered for a week after it says on my end that it’s been delivered. The lady behind the desk said I should be receiving a slip when they can’t deliver and I’ve told them several times that I have never received any slips. I’ve been met with such rudeness by the older blonde lady with glasses so many times, she interrupts and doesn’t even let me explain my situation. Never dealt with ruder people at the post office and the post office isn’t really known for their customer service in the first place.

My brother in law went to set up another drop off delivery for a job/home address after they failed to do the drop off but they kept interrupting and would not listen, saying leaving the package was a bad idea even though this isnt just a job site its a house. They were too focused with their own protocol and interrupted too much to hear that. Only after a whole ordeal could he barely get the point across and set up a delivery. This could all have been avoided if the staff was not incompetent and listened to the customers, which is not easy for them cause they think you trying to explain your situation is getting angry. Taking one look at these reviews I can see this is not the only time something has happened.

There was a line, but the postal worker worked very fast to get everyone through while providing excellent customer service. This post office visit was one of my best experiences.

I would love to know what the post master is actually doing. There is no reason why it takes over a week for a letter to get from McCall, ID to Lewiston, ID. A week & 1/2 and it is still not here. Y'all have become the black hole for mail!!

After a very long day and waiting in a very long line, it would've been nice to have seen strategically placed signage throughout and on the front entrance door that you do not take CASH OR NO 50’s or 100’s.The clerk said: NOBODY USES CASH ANYMORE.? Not true obviously ?

Horrible, time is not an essence to them what so ever. I would pay more to not ship usps. Expect to get your packages avg. 1 to 3 days late. Hard when your expecting a package for a job site and they mark it as delivered. But usps says "Oh yea we haven't gotten the yellow slips out today". Unacceptable.
