“I live in Nampa Idaho and travel to the McCall area multiple times a year. This has always been a great and affordable place to stay. It has everything you want for a quick getaway trip all year round. I have stayed here on snowmobile trips, skiing trips, family trips, and get away trips with the wife. Staff was very helpful and accommodating on our latest trip this weekend.

“My husband and I were on a trip to Spokane to attend his cousin's funeral. We are from southern Utah and we got off later than expected in our private plane and the sun was starting to set so we set down in McCall. We found that the Best Western was just across the street from the airport. There were no rental cars in the area, no Ubers or taxis and the hotel had no van to come to get us, so we grabbed our things from the plane for the night and set out for the hotel on foot. The next morning was overcast with low clouds and was supposed to snow so we were grounded. We ended up being grounded for 6 days because of continual snow storms, without a car to get around for meals or to even check out the surrounding area. Luckily there was a market about 1/4 mile away that sustained us with food the whole time we were there. Jessica, the General Manager, was very sympathetic to our plight and offered to pick up any meals from the restaurants around town since there were no deliveries from any of them during this time of year. We took her up on a delivery one time that John, the front desk clerk, picked up for us and brought to our room. Jessica was willing to give us anything we needed from the breakfast area during the day also. The hot chocolate sustained us during the cold mornings or any other time we wanted it. The weather finally cleared on the 6th day and we were able to fly back home. Thank you so much, Jessica, for the compassion you showed to us as we were stranded there in McCall. Thanks to John and the rest of the staff we got to interact with during that week. ?

Rooms: Luckily we were given a larger room with a sofa so I had something to sit on while my husband worked from his computer at the desk.
