Not a helpful place at all. Was not able to provide emergency shelter- ie; hotel voucher, shelter, tent/blanket. Female sleeping on streets alone. Was told to go to Seattle

For the first time today. I was on the receiving end instead of giving end. I received a food box. The gentleman that helped me. Said, you know God loves you. That touched my heart with tears of joy. I went back this evening for a turkey dinner. It really felt good. I love being the giver. But don't get me wrong today was heartfelt. Thank you salvation army. I left a thank you card this evening. I hope everyone See's it. Especially the gentleman that helped me today. God bless all of you. Love Linda Henry

Kind people. The guy who runs the Soup Kitchen didn't seem happy to have me or my service dog around though.

Non helpful. I needed a tank of gas so I could get home to my kids in Montana and they gave me phone numbers that didn't even work. And it was closing time for them. They hadn't had funding in six months for anything. I only needed to come up with twenty bucks to get home on. They took a copy of my driver's license and I didn't even get to talk to any of their social workers. I just wish they could of told me they couldn't help me from the start. Instead they made me wait three hours for the front desk guy to give me three phone numbers to call to ask for help. There wasn't anyone else waiting in the but me the whole time
