I am not a fan of putting my life on line, but after almost a week and a half of trying and failing to get ahold of someone i am at a loss of what else to do.In May2022, I took my car to PDQ to have new struts installed. $3800 & 5+ wks. later I finally got my car back. I pulled out of their lot and immediately heard noises that I shouldn't have been hearing. I drove it from their shop to Idaho street just off of 21st and called & informed Cody about it.He insisted that it was my wheel bearing and it had nothing to do with the struts.June 2022 - 1 week later I had the front drivers side wheel bearing replaced. And, no surprise, it still made the same sound.Eventually I took it to Les Schwab's for an alignment where the manager informed me that all 4 of my sway bar links (replaced with struts) were only finger tightened. He said it seemed like they put them on and got distracted and forgot to go back and actually tighten them down.Even after the alignment i could still hear something, but it didn't seem as bad.Fast forward to Mid-June 2023 - Back passenger side strut is completely blown out. Shoved the top of the strut through the bottom of my back speaker and broke the tab that holds it in place. (Don't care about the speaker, had it replaced.)I tried for weeks to contact someone at PDQ, with no success. Finally posted a similar review and the owner contacted me.He was very nice and had them make me an appointment at no charge since the part was under warranty and the labor was just at a yr.Still June, I take my car and drop it off with the agreement that they will call me and confirm that it IS the strut and explain what they are going to do to fix the problem.A week or two goes by with nothing from them. Finally, I call for a few days before I get ahold of anyone.Cody finally answers and informs me that my parts should be in sometime in the next few days.Another week & I call again, this time my car is finished and they either forgot to call or everyone thought someone else was calling. When I show up to get it, they hand me the keys, no paperwork, no explanation of what they did or why a brand new $500-$600 strut just goes bad in a little less than a year.I picked my car up this time in early to mid July 2023.Approximately a week and a half ago, I am driving up 21st street, (road is rough with all the road construction) I hit a small pot hole that are getting ready to fill and immediately I start hearing that same strut flopping around!90 days, 3 months, it has been July, August, September and it is already bad!!!Again, I have tried for over 1 1/2 weeks to contact someone there, but no one answers and the voicemail is full and has been the entire time. So what am I supposed to do?I am starting to wonder if they even replaced the actual strut last time. I would think that a brand new $500+ strut doesn't just go bad in 3 months...I don't know what I am supposed to do, any suggestions?Katrina Marie PoeServices: Steering & suspension repair

Drop my car off Labor Day weekend hoping to get the car repaired. Was told he would get back to me. No call. I call a week after dropping the car and was told the problem is a bad wheel speed sensor. He was trying to figure out a way to repair the car not spend tons of money. Said he would get back to me. Called a week later he had just gotten off the phone with the company trying to get a part. 2 weeks later I called again he had just gotten off the phone again the parts are in route and he doesn't know where the parts are. More than 5 weeks later my car's not repaired I can't wait any longer. If they didn't want to do the work, they should've just said so. I do NOT recommend this company.Service: Electrical repair

If I ever need a mechanic in Lewiston, I’m going here. I was driving through when, after a gas stop, my car made a horrible screeching sound when I put it in drive. When I called, they told me they would not be able to work on car for a couple of days. BUT, after I described the sound/situation, they diagnosed it as a stuck rock between something and the brake shoe. Told me to put in reverse, then drive a few times. And IT WORKED! Screeching sound GONE. Proceeded on my trip with zero issues. Polite. Professional. Responsive.Helpful. ??

Was driving to Texas in 2 days when my air-conditioning stopped working. Karl managed to fit me in late notic as it was an emergency. I'm pretty sure he did this on his lunch to help get it fixed for me which is beyond amazing. Can't thank him enough as it would have been a miserable trip had he not been so great.Recommend whole heartedly.

PDQ Import Repair came highly recommended by other shops in Lewiston when I needed the fuel pump replaced in my '91 Honda Civic. Cody and his team stepped up to the task and got me in sooner than any other shop anywhere from Lewiston to Grangeville...and, they got it done well within the budget I had available. The mechanic who did the work has my empathy, and my gratitude. It seems he'd perhaps struggled a bit with getting it done (I'm an aircraft mechanic by trade, so I feel the pain of difficult maintenance), and I'm very grateful they got me back on the road.Friendly, professional...highly competent! I'll take my Honda to PDQ again if/when the need arises. Thanks, you guys!

Would never recommend this place to anyone! We spent thousands of dollars at the place to fix our car and they just kept coming up with more and more excuses of why it wasn't fixed. They screwed us out of a bunch of money and we still have a car that doesn't run.

I was looking for a wiper motor for my 1970 VW Beetle and they found me one! The customer service was excellent and very friendly! Though it was my first time there, they treated me like I'd been a loyal customer for years. I'll utilize them as often as I can in the future! A+++

PDQ has been fantastic to work with over the years! Honest, fair pricing, timely with repairs, and no high pressure sales. I trust them completely to keep my import car safe and drivable.
