The owner was a nice guy and I enjoyed conversing with him about black powder. There was a good selection of wares; however, I felt as though most things were considerably overpriced. There was what appeared to be a half-used container of Triple 7 black powder substitute with a $60 price tag– you can buy a pound of it brand new at Black Sheep/Cabela’s for $35-$40! This seems to be the case for most pawn shops in the Lewiston area, with things priced substantially more than their current market value.

Just picked up a Lower Receiver I ordered from Palmetto. I was greeted immediately upon entering and was treated like an old friend. I had questions while filling out my background check form. My questions were answered patiently and my paperwork was processed quickly. I had a very friendly conversation while completing the paperwork. I had a great experience and will be going back for my next purchase.

Very, very rude. Became upset and yelled at me when I asked if they take Xbox's to pawn. Said they only do guns and such. Like I was supposed to know? Get over yourself

I've done business with Orchard's Pawn Shop since Ken was a wee lad. If you know Ken, that was a loong time ago ;) Ken is a man of integrity, a man of his word. Of course he is in business to make a living but he knows he doesn't have to make that living from one sale. His is Lewiston, Idaho's premier gun pawn shop and I rarely shop any where else. By the way, he did not pay me to write this...I'll swear on one of those saddles hanging in his shop.

Ken was outstanding to work with when I had to return an item, which is very rare when doing business in todays world. Ken is a good old- fashioned guy who has morals, integrity and cares about people more then money. The item was exactly as he decribed it but I did not want the item after I won the auction and he was a great guy to work with. I would recommend doing businesss with him highly.
