Absolutely useless dont bother calling they dont pick up at all. I had an emergency when i needed to relinquish ownership as my dog needed a surgery i couldnt afford. No help what so ever so make sure you call a place that actually anwsers the phone instead of a voicemail box thats full. Absolutely terrible

Nice people. Lots of animals. You can go back and see the dogs without a lot of hassle. The dogs appear to be well maintained.

After looking at other human society's around the area I was a bit discouraged but decided to give it one last try, it was abit of a drive but so worth it!Fell in love and Adopted little kitten "Norton" now Blue, he is the sweetest thing. All of the kittens seemed well socialized, playful, calm and very sweet. Very fairly priced for a fully vaccinated and neutered kitten!Staff was kind and made the adoption process quick and easy. 100% would adopt here again!

Adopted a cat that has so many medical issues, I am actually getting another job because of it...I've only had the cat for a month and half, and all of the symptoms he has now, he had at the shelter. I thought they would only give you an animal with a clean vet bill, but obviously not. He had an abscess on his face that has cost us multiple hundreds of dollars to drain; he also has an ongoing serious issue that we were never told about in the slightest. That has also cost us multiple hundreds of dollars. We are now in debt because of a sick cat the shelter allowed up for adoption, with no warning at all.I wouldn't leave a review on a good intent organization without great belief they really made a mistake. So please, before you adopt an animal from them, and if you're unable to afford substantial medical care like me, do your own checkup of the animal before adoption. Ask any question related to health that you can think of, like diet and bowel movement and awkward behaviours, etc.Otherwise, thank you for the service you provide to Lewiston.
