Hertz in general has experience with significant unethical practices. They will charge well and above standard administration fees. If there is an accident even if you are covered they will try to retrieve lost revenue from the money they "might" receive if that vehicle had not been damaged. This will not be covered by any policy. Best to choose someone else if you know what is good for you.

I had difficulties with confirming my Hertz reservation in Texas. It took two long sessions and much trial and error to fix the problem. The manager was amazing and deserves the highest commendation for her amazing customer service. She was an angel on a frustrating day.

When I went to rent my car, they didn’t tell me they were going to add an extra $500 to my rental. She handed me a paper to sign saying they were charging me $275, then slipped an extra paper behind it and handed me my packet. It wasn’t until I checked my account and saw a charge for $875. I called and asked and they told me it is standard and that every company charges a security deposit (I have never been charged a security deposit for any other company). I was angry the information was withheld and then they charged it without my consent. It felt like shady practice.

Amazing and friendly customer service! The woman working the front desk—Heather—went out of her way to make sure I got the truck I needed. I was in a real bind due to an accident and needed a 4WD. She made it happen and with such a pleasant attitude! A lifesaver! Thank you!

They were more than happy to rent, until I said I would pay with a debit card. After that they suddenly had no vehicles for any dates and became quite cold and rude.

I travel a lot. This location is understaffed much of the time, but they do their best. They are always pleasant and helpful.

Need to have a credit card to rent. This is told only after the web site accepts your bank card that they don't accept. However they did waved my cancellation fee. Lady at desk was quite rude.
