I was about to run out of a prescription after leaving Ketchum for Palm Desert, CA for four months. Discovered this on a Saturday morning and called the Valley Apothecary, my pharmacy of choice. Paula took over my request for help in getting a refill overnight and managed to get it to me by Monday. Amazing response with an all hands on deck approach that worked a wonder. Thanks to all of the Apothecary's staff for another great job. Tim Ryan

I came down with a UTI last week while in Sun Valley on vacation. The pharmacist was able to immediately help me obtain prescription medication. She also suggested an additional over the counter medication to relieve the debilitating symptoms. Valley Apothecary absolutely saved my vacation and my long trip home. I'm grateful for the caring pharmacist and staff.

A pro-infanticide, pro-death company. This company has posted a billboard in Boise about "forced pregnancy" that is a lie as it states forced pregnancy is bad for women but it doesn't cite a single statistic to support its claims. They operate in Ketchum but have decided to lie to people in Boise.

Stopped in today to pick up one Binax Now Home Covid test at Valley Apothecary. I’ve bought many of these online and at other locations. Standard price is about $24 online and at retail stores. When I asked the sales person the price, she told me $75. 300% more than standard pricing. I though she had it wrong and asked if that was right because the standard retail price was $24-25. I got an angry response along the lines of we’re not Walgreens or CVS we pay more. We’ll, at a minimum they shouldn’t be paying more than $24. Very disappointed to see a community pharmacy price gouging residents over essential COVID testing supplies. Guaranteed to discourage many people from using home COVID tests at these unnecessarily inflated prices. Always happy to pay for great service but this was offensive.

Valley Apothecary portrays themselves as a local business, different than the big chains. They are different for sure. They sell OTC home Covid tests, that list for $22 for only $75. If supplies are limited, it makes sense to limit the number an individual can purchase, but price gouging isn’t, or shouldn’t be, a local friendly business practice.
