Worst ski rental place I’ve ever seen:
1. Booked my rentals months in advance, they triple charged my credit card and took forever to refund them.
2. My reservation said “novice” no experience, never been on skis before in my life. Then I told Rodrigo the same thing when picking up the rentals. Rodrigo gave me skis that were too tall and boots too big for a beginner. After 3 days trying to ski with the wrong equipment and because I did know any better, I gave up skiing thinking it was me, only to learn by the mouth of another employee on the last day of my ski trip that they had given me the wrong equipment, that is why I could not control my skis.
They ruined my ski trip I have been saving money for years.
After I complained to Adam the supervisor, this is what I got:
“Good morning,
Terribly sorry to hear about your experience at Dollar. I’ll be sure to reach out to that supervisor and let them know to keep on top of their team”
In other words, gave me and the money I spent with a ski package in their store, the middle finger.
STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN from Pete Lane’s Mountain Sports.

This has become my new favorite shop, hands down. Everyone I've interacted with in the retail, boot fitting and service departments have all been knowledgable & eager to help.I recently had custom Intuition liners fit by Alex in the boot fitting department, followed by some fine-tuning of my shells by Ken after skiing on them for a few days. Both of these guys are experts that completely transformed the way my boots fit.Seeking professional ski / boot services here in the valley, you tend to run into a lot of big ego's, which always makes for an uncomfortable experience. You'll find none of those here. Humble, approachable expertise is the vibe at this shop!

This was probably the best ski rental experience of my life. Was essentially escorted personally through the entire process, and they took the skis to the exit so that we could strap in and get ready with out being pushed out the door.

The guy at the tune up shop was a huge D Bag and refused us service. We spend thousands on ski passes and even more so most of our family can rent skis and boards. Really rude and completely ignored us and turned us away. Either get more people on shift or take off the option to wax off the list of services if “you don’t have time.” Pretty disappointed today

I came in to Pete Lanes custom boot shop two days ago to borrow an allen wrench to adjust my own boots.

This is for the one on Dollar mountain. Absolutely awful customer service. I would avoid at all costs. They have no desire to help. Get your equipment elsewhere
