Let me start with saying I have purchased at least 5 new vehicles from Dave Smith Motors. The experience although slow was usually great. However I was completely lied to on a new car purchase of a 2024 Chevy camero ZL1. The salesman said I should order one and that no one had put in a allocation yet. I waited close to a year with them holding my deposit for the sales person to tell me someone eles got my order! This absolutely wrong and illegal. I have tried calling for a GM with no call back. Maybe Dave Smith feels they can just run over the little man without repercussions? I would recommend never buying from this dealer no matter what they save you! They are to big to care anymore. Went in to look at a AT4x on 4/20/24 and they set us up with Quinn. told him what we wanted and took us over to his sales desk. Apparently he was working with a different customer and abandoned them and he says I rather he you instead. not professional. He finds us a couple options to look at and says he will go get the vehicle and bring it up so we can test drive it. we waited 30 minutes just for him to show up where we are with no vehicle as it was sold. we left I will spend my money somewhere else that is a professional and don't leave a potential customer hanging for 30 waiting for him to return

As others have posted- do NOT give them a deposit, regardless of what they say to you or promise you. Their "fully refundable" has conditions with it which they don't tell you up front, and in all reality is most certainly illegal. I did an on-line search only for potential used vehicles, and was told to provide a deposit to hold the vehicle I had submitted a question about. After determining the vehicle would not meet my needs (totally on-line - sight unseen), they refused to refund the charge they made to my credit card. I made no purchase (vehicle, service or other), I didn't sign anything. No exchange of service or product occurred. I have made contact with them 4 times by phone and with a very detailed email sent directly to the General Manager. No one has returned my calls or emails and the refund has not been issued. The person who responded to my requests for information on-line was sales person, Joshua. The General Manager is Jake Crawford. This kind of shady, underhanded behavior speaks to lack of integrity and an overall disrespect for potential customers.

We purchased a new 2024 Chevrolet 2500 HD from Dave Smith in January. The salesman Leonard was great to work with and the process was hassle free. We put a deposit down in late October and they stuck to everything we agreed on, no bait and switch, no wrong color, upsell attempts, etc. They added what I asked for and it was perfect. After a simple hour and a half we were on the road home to Western Washington. I highly recommend Dave Smith Motors. John

Not worth it. Don't waste your time. Anthony Chillson is a crook. I put a deposit down on a truck over the weekend. Anthony told me it was fully refundable and it would be bad business if they didn't refund. I received a call on Monday morning from Anthony telling me he couldn't sell me the truck due to a recall so I found a truck elsewhere. When I called back to let him know that's what I had done he pouted. I asked for the refund and we ended the conversation. Two months later after countless ignored phone calls email and texts I still have no refund. Absolutely bad business and I'll be letting everyone know.

Bought extended warranty for n ew Arcadia but when I went to use it Dave Smith mechanic said the warranty wasn't any good. Very disappointing

Dave Smith cheated us by charging us for tinting that they did not do, they charged us for cleaning the vehicle which they did not do, and lastly, they did not pay for our hotel, like they promised to do. We have purchased three brand new vehicles from them and will never ever go back. Every chance I get to tell someone about their treatment I do.

Dave Smith Motors fails to honor the warranty. Regrettably, after purchasing a car with a warranty, the engine malfunctioned a mere eight months later. To my utmost surprise, the service department held onto my car for an astonishing two months without even initiating a claim with the warranty company. And to compound matters, they persisted that the necessary repairs would not be covered by the warranty, without even bothering to file the claim. In my quest for assistance, I reached out to the General Manager regarding the warranty and the service department. Unfortunately, he dismissively brushed off the matter, stating that it was not his concern since the warranty was provided by a third-party company.Hey Paul Nadler, I can't believe you think the warranty from Dave Smith motor is not your problem. Seriously? Take a minute and think about the moral responsibility here. It's about time you step up and offer your clients a warranty that actually does what it's supposed to do.

Dave Smith Motors has always treated us right! We have bought 5 brand new trucks in Kellogg over the last few years and have always been treated great! We have worked with Teddy and he has gone above and beyond to fulfill all our needs to find the perfect truck. He even delivered the truck to us after hours just to help us out! We also worked with Cameron a sales manager and Noah in accessories who helped us make our buying experince easy and affordable! We have been shopping with Dave Smith since 2005 and have never been disappointed! Thanks guys!

I've purchased from DSM in the past. If you can walk into the dealership this the most excellent place to buy a vehicle. Purchasing over the internet was an experience I don't want to do again. Picking the vehicle was fast and easy picking the accessories was fast and easy.But after I made my deposit I got pushed to the back burner. I had to call many times a week to get them moving on the next step.It was very frustrating. It took 2+ weeks to get my paperwork sent to me and another 2+ weeks to process my paperwork.Shipping took about 10 days total and that went well.DSM still never gave me a copy of my signed documents, I've asked for twice.Overall 0% chance of buying online again. Very disappointing.

Overly accommodating, friendly, and best of all ski passes!Generally not a big fan of car dealers...But Dave Smith is the place to go if you need a new car.Evan helped us find two hard to get 2023 model cars when no one else could. (One in march and one august) Not only did he help us find these cars, but the service was great, communication on point and lobby coffee not too bad. No awkward negotiations with the "sales manager" runaround's etc. Just to the point, in and out within an hour or so.Everyone was friendly, we picked up one of the cars in person and had the other one shipped, both times everything went smooth.If your on the fence about using Dave Smith or some other dealer I would highly recommend you go with Dave Smith!

First time buyer, lifetime customer. ?My experience with purchasing a vehicle from Dave Smith has been excellent. I wandered in on a random Saturday with a very specific idea of what I wanted and didn’t have to wait long at all for a salesman to walk by and ask if I had been helped yet. I said no and Everett led me to his desk and asked how he could help me out. I told him I was ISO a very specific vehicle with a specific range of years, options, etc. I knew it was a long shot but just asked that if he saw anything come in on trade, he’d give me a call. I wasn’t expecting a call any time soon (if at all) but Everett actually called me THE VERY NEXT BUSINESS DAY and told me the exact vehicle with all of my super specific requirements had come in on trade. Everett and the rest of the Dave Smith team have gone above and beyond (no exaggeration) for me and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase or experience. I will be recommending Dave Smith to everyone I meet and will be coming back myself (years down the road, literally) when I’m once again ready to purchase a new car. I come from a customer service and hospitality background so I know what genuinely good service looks like and I’m not easily impressed, and Everett really truly impressed me. Fantastic service team! My 1 hour and 20 minute drive is well worth having a knowledgeable and efficient service team. Have been taking my trucks there since 2014 and will not take them anywhere else. Thank you Dave Smith GM Service!

My experience at Dave Smith was excellent. They were very professional, helpful, and knowledgeable about my vehicle and what was wrong with it. They finished the job quickly and even were able to add in a last minute oil change!
