We had a fantastic time. The new bathrooms are awesome! The girls at the front desk were super helpful and put us in a spot that fit our extra long rig and had room for our fishing boat. Highly recommend!!! Thank you!!!Nearby activities: The Clearwater River is beautiful and has great fishingWalkability: The Heart of the Monster park across the highway has some nice (but short) hiking trails

Perfectly rustic for the location, just across from a historical site and walking path, near the river. Close to town. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms and great service family owned awesome showers. Really a small homey feel. Thank you for always having a smile, acomodating where you can and working so hard it does not go unseen and is very appreciated.

How does KOA allow their name to be attached to this place? Muddy, rutted sites with oddly placed utilities. How about power, water on one side and sewer on the other side? One night and out.

Stayed in a cabin with 4 adults and 2 dogs for a weekend wedding. It was perfect! I plan to come back to actually be able to explore the gorgeous area. Really enjoyed the stay.

The bathrooms were very clean and spacious. The campground was immaculate. A lot of trees to help protect us from the hot sun. One of the best campgrounds we’ve been to.

We are planning a reunion at this campground next year 2024. Tesla, and the entire staff, including the manager have been so accommodating, and helpful! Sometimes, I will call several times in one day just to ask questions or check on things, and they always make the time to help me. I drove up there before booking this place and they took the time to show me the cabins, motel rooms, RV sites, event room, pool, arcade room, and the entire grounds. If you are planning a group event or just a family vacation, I would recommend this KOA! I will post again after we have our event.

The staff went out of their way to make the best of my stay with a small tent, motorcycle and heavy rain. Everybody was extremely friendly, helpful and the amenities were the cleanest I have had in a camp site. Absolute gem!

Came in very late after getting caught coming through rt12 at night on a solo motorcycle trip across country. Staff was great. Card operated laundry. Tent sights were clean . Staff was polite even after checking me in at 2am. Bathrooms clean with hot showers. I will be coming back through here and I would gladly stay again.

READ BEFORE YOU STAY AND PAY DEPOSIT!!!!! Stay away! Don't pay deposit without going to look first AT YOUR RV SIGHT!!!! They won't return it when it proves THEIR FAULT they couldn't provide decent and safe rv sites! Go look first! Do not expect a decent place for your rv at this KOA and the owners are something to be desired as well which reflects the same given how the entire campground was kept up. We were needing space for a 39FT rv with opposing slide outs during a time my husband was doing a job locally in kamiah. Given that KOA campgrounds in our experience were pretty nice we expected the same. This place is not a quality place to any degree. We stupidly put a deposit of 100.00 on a space. When we got there ALL the spots were extremely muddy to the point you wouldn't want to take some trucks thru the space on their own yet alone a $50,000 trailer. Not exaggerating. I wish I was. There is no gravel and forget any sort of level space whatsoever. Due to the really bad placement of the water sewer and electric utilities within what I guess they called rv spaces and the very large trees in every space that was a MAJOR space issue making it impossible for slide outs and parking, coupled with the fact that the mud was so bad, we would've been taking a chance getting our trailer stuck and no way was there any hope of leveling whatsoever with holes in the spaces some almost 6 inches deep. The lengths we would've had to go thru to stay there and set up the trailer safely and get it level was not even reasonable. Even dried up you still would have major problems cuz there's no level spaces. Big rigs with slide outs forget it. All seasons. We would've thought that a KOA would have something at least better than this!!! The overall facility was trashy on every level. From the green algae pool area to the clear lack of maintenance to the grounds of any sort..... it was awful and we weren't willing to potentially cause harm to our trailer or live in the mud hole and so we asked for our money back and left. We were told our 100 dollar deposit would be refunded as well and I thinkrightly so. I was just told that it's non refundable and they don't care why we had to leave. I've never experienced this level of customer service anywhere. I've never had a problem with any rv park like this then again I've never encountered a place of business like an rv park that looked like this one. It's pretty bad and you would think overall they would try to be better at least give us our deposit back given it was THEIR PROBLEM that prevented our stay, not ours. They showed us a few spots all were off the same caliber. Ones that were not as muddy were more un level. Nothing worked. I never leave reviews and I probably would've stayed quiet if they had returned my deposit which was absolutely the right thing to do. Maybe me letting someone know this ahead of their potential stay might save them the money and headache of going thru what we did. Don't take my word for it, just go check it out BEFORE giving them your money. Bad business sorry to say. Happy travels to all!

Beautiful cabins, reasonable rates and the staff couldn’t be friendlier! One of my favorite little hideaways to stay at!

I will say that the desk person was very nice. I did not see the public bathrooms or other public facilities, but I did see cabins and I would not stay in those. Seems like an RV park where people live, more so than a KOA campground. I have stayed in 4 other Journey KOAs to-date and those were nice, and this was not at the same level.

Nice place, lots of shade, and a big meeting room for large groups. Nice pool, and game room too. Lots of camping and rv spots.
