We stayed just one night, but it was the most lovely spot we stayed in our 2000 mile drive trip. We arrived in the late afternoon and there were several spots to choose from, but I expect it could be harder earlier in the summer or on a weekend. There's a trail along the river. I didn't take a chance on putting my kayak in since I didn't have the required Idaho invasive species permit, but I wanted to!

Beautiful place! This is our favorite campground in Island Park. We like to do the trail and fish by the rapids. The trail is almost completely flat, and the rapids are two miles or so in.

First come first serve with electrical hookups. Boy does this campground get a lot of traffic. There is a parking lot for fisherman, and an exit for all the kayakers, paddleboarders, and floaters. The stay limit is 5 days. The river is beautiful but has leeches. The sites were relatively clean. There were water valves evenly dispersed through out the campground. Restrooms are drop down, and recently emptied so they don't smell that bad yet.The campground was extremely busy. People came and went all day looking for spots. We even had people knock asking when we were leaving. So keep that in mind. That combined with everybody getting out of the river in the middle of the campground made it so busy.Restrooms: Clean. Not a lot of bugs, but no light.

It’s a great campground, enough room to not be right on top of the other campers and nice and close to the water

Gorgeous campground! make sure to reserve online ahead of time and have your confirmation email! They got our spot mixed up and we almost didn’t have a place to stay, but luckily they got it sorted out. You can flit right to the campground off of Big Springs

This spot on the river is picturesque. The campground is usually full and due to overcrowding they're trying to limit river access for day use, but the trail along the river is one of my favorite walks in Island Park. It's not uncommon to see multiple types of wildlife including moose, bear, blue, heron, ducks, elk, pelicans, and many more.

This riverside campground is probably the best in Island Park. We enjoyed floating the river from Mack's Inn right to our camp spot. Some of the spots have electricity and water hookups.

I have visited this place every summer of my 40 year life. Now that we have property in IP, we still go down and visit. So many wonderful memories!

Stunning. We went here to go fishing. Didn't end up catching anything but it was truly beautiful and peaceful.

I usually love visiting this campground. It's a beautiful area on the river and is always full. Great Area to fish and relax and enjoy the outdoors. It has clean bathrooms. This year the attendants were really quite rude to a lot of people, not myself though, and they kept the gate closed so not as easy to access. I can understand not wanting the traffic to pull in and park, but the way they handled I felt wasn't right. One of the people they were getting mad at, they charged money to pull out their kayaks there. I don't know if that was right or not, but the way they spoke to people was not right.
