Great place to bike, ski, snowshoe and enjoy nature. We almost always see trumpeter swans and foxes.

Spectacular viewing of swan in their winter “hot tub.”
Please People! Get over the horse manure on trails! You are too many generations removed from the farm. Your ancestors lived on farms with horse manure. Get over it! …from a trail rider who has had her horses on trails in 28 states.

Such an awesome place! The trails are very well kept even in the winter time. I love to ride my fat bike here and there is over 20 miles of good trail. sunset and sunrises are perfect out here. Just beware that it is a bit colder than whatever temperature. It is in Island Park or surrounding areas.

This is a beautiful state park with great trails in the summer and the winter Love biking around the lake.
Would be 5 stars but the horses from dry ridge outfitters are leaving so much manure on the trails it looks and smells terrible. The wooden bridge across the inlet stream for silver is disgusting. There should be limits on trails they can use or make them have poo catchers on the horses. Not the park’s fault. Rangers were super friendly and understanding about the mess being left on the trails.
