I have a bad experience everytime I go to this bank. Also, at least one of the locations in town should be open for a few hours on Saturdays.

I was referred to a real estate agent I ended up not using to US bank and she said they are awesome. NOT TRUE AT ALL!!!!. The loan officer was very inexperience. Even to the day we closed the house...my social security number was wrong. They had to crossed it off and write the correct number with a pen. Fast forward two months later to my first mortgage payment experience...I gave the teller my name and they couldn't find me in their system. I gave them my social and it pulled up someone else's loan. I felt embarrassed and violated. That was too months later I think. Then i had to spent time again with the loan officer to correct my social security number on their records. I want to say the rest is history but i wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and try to see the good in people. Well, i should have said the rest is history earlier. It didnt stop there...its like walking into a minefield everytime i pay my mortgage. The customer service is horrible. The service is extremely slow and the attitude towards customer is very unacceptable. It happen almost every time I go there. I have way too many unresolved issues with this branch. For example, after waiting in line for a long long time, the blonde lady there had the audacity to tell me next time dont use my card to pay my mortgage because it takes too long and so next time pay my mortgage with cash. I told her its not my problem they are not working fast and understaffed and she rolled her eyes and gave me attitude. Despite of that, I listened to my wife and I went to ATM to get cash from then on. She didnt even thank me for my business. The next time the black hair lady told me my i owe more more like $400 more than my monthly payment and she was freaken rude about it and it turned out the $400 was was paid interest. Last week, I went to paid my mortgage and the other lady said she needed .30 cents more...I asked her why Im paying .30 cents more and she rudely said she doesn't know just contact my mortgage officer. I have nothing but bad experience with US Bank. My review is getting longer and I have more to say how bad im treated at this branch. But I will leave like this because Im changing banks. The probably dont care because they make more money from other victims of their customer service and system but at least I will be one of them soon. I will take my business somewhere I can feel appreciated and they valued my contribution to their business. If you are reading this review, please save yourself time and headache by not taking your business to US Bank, especially this branch. The branch in downtown Idaho Falls is even slower that this one, especially if you are waiting in the line on Broadway st. If you are banking at US bank and have been treated good...you are the lucky one because most of us are not as lucky. There is a reason why this branch review is 1.8. Thank you for reading my review and do yourself a favor.

It's 1 because I can't go lower. I have been with this bank for about 30 yrs so you see I don't like change. I can't wait to change. July 17th I was contacted by a person that said I need to pay my city bill, I was sick and long story short after they got close to 5,000.00 from me they hung up, fast forward to Aug,9th I get 6 letters saying my fraud claim was denied because I entered the amount the scammers ask for. After I received the letters from the bank I called and was told nothing they could or would do. Started today to move everything to ICCU, guess what they care. Hope the lobby is opened on August 12th because I'm coming to transfer everything. Have a good day US Bank, this has also gone on Facebook. Peace out .

WOW, I don’t even bank at this bank, THANK GOD, but unfortunately, I have to deposit a check once a month & I dread it every time. They have one person working the two drive in lines & I have to wait at least 45 minutes every time. The ATM is out of order half the time too. So ridiculous. Open the freakin building & require masks. Getting a job done in a timely fashion shouldn’t be that difficult. Hire more people, put more people on a shift, do something! I wish I could give zero stars.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE! I went to close an account. Teller, over loudspker attempted to discuss my banking. Sent me a cashiers to sign. Did not look right, she sent me a partial statement. Said I needed to sign. I said no, that I needed to know more it appeared that there was some 'impropriation' of funds. I stated I'd need to see/understand more please send back ID cards. Was told I had to sign the check for what I believed a hundred bucks less BEFORE she'd send my cards back. I said no I'd send back the UNSIGNED check to please send ID cards. She would'nt "the account was closed". I stated I WOULD'NT sign anything until I could look at statements, talk to a banker as I felt doing so acknowledged agreeance. A banker, Kristene (or Katherin) Moldovna, Moldona - however her names spelled came to the window. I said I need to 'research' this what I believed to be wrong, before signing anything. Banker asked if I wanted statements but I would be charged 12 $. I said no I won't pay 12$ for what I was thinking was banking error. She said I must sign the check. Again, I said 'no' I will go home and call the 800 # and make an appointment to come talk to a banker. She said she was a banker and would make an appointment then and there (after much attempting to discuss my account LOUDLY over the loudspeaker which I WOULD NOT DO publicly. So they FINALLY sent my "held hostage" ID cards when they (she) understood I would't sign the check. I was in line with four cars behind me, we had a standoff! I sent unsigned check after they figured I wasn't moving until they sent my ID cards. I went home, knowing in two days I'd be back and got online calling a MOST wonderful helpful 800 US Banker lady and received info. Today I went back at 12:30 met the same banker. Sat down I explained after MY review of past statements sent by online banker (NO CHARGE) that I was alright with proceeding. Banker attempted to tell me that if I'd listened to her and looked at the statement she gave me, we would have been finished. I CORRECTED her and told her I stated I needed to see statements she wanted to charge 12$ for that online lady gave freely before feeling right. She issued me a check, WOULD NOT CASH it (unless I paid 7.50$) as I was no longer a customer despite issued by this bank seconds before! I WONER how US BANK treats other people with no other accounts with a check drawn on US BANK??? 1st BRANCH VERY RUDE!!!! NEVER AGAIN, WILL I BE AT US BANK thanks to 1st street rude employees!

Wait times are almost 1 hour in drive thru. I have been with them for years and I am seriously considering taking my business somewhere else.

Spending 50+ minutes in a drive through with only 2 cars in front of you is not okay. That said, their mortgage and business divisions are great....just wish I could get things done without taking an hour
