Martha was incredible! She helped me get my new vehicle and made the process less stressful and fun - something I didn't think was possible! Definitely recommend her to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle!
Update: I take it all back - I would dump the car back on them if I could. Drove to work (locally) and back home for a month and a half before I was having transmission symptoms. Since it was February, I assumed it was the cold. Come March, I was at a new job, and had to stop driving it. Got told I had to take it to Ford to have the transmission looked at, so I did. Unsurprisingly, my car has a transmission that needs to be replaced. Also found out when I asked if the maintenance was done prior to purchase, before signing, they lied to me and said it was. Maintenance schedules are public, 100k includes the spark plugs. How was that missed? Oil is leaking from the valve gaskets, heating elements are out, etc. And yet when Honda contacted me again, they suddenly wanted the vehicle back there? I'm not driving a vehicle with a transmission going out across town again. Vehicle make has an argument here, sure, it's Ford, and I was already less than thrilled about getting another Ford, but the fact this vehicle lasted two months before major issues occurred is mind boggling. I only got it because it was the only SUV under 20k they had, I was on a time limit as I was searching for months, and being a small business owner at the time, an SUV was ideal (business is also now put on hold because of this nightmare.)
Also came to find out, that I'm responsible for the tear down - about $1400. So I'll have to take out another loan to cover that, when I was assured that major repairs would be covered under the extended warranty I got, that I am no where near the mileage limit or time limit for.
I was already weary and made it explicitly clear to both Martha and Greg. I decided to trust them after I was convinced by a member of the Welker family that this was the best option for dealerships. While they clearly didn't expect this and I don't hold any negative emotions against them, after years of being financially screwed over by this industry, I don't think I will ever buy a vehicle again or trust a single person in this industry.
And ironically, Lithia Ford has been the good guys in this entire situation, despite their reputation being worse than Honda.
Should I have taken it in sooner? Sure - I was just working full time and finishing two bachelor's degrees, so my time was limited.
Should I have not gotten a Ford and continued walking to work in the snow? Absolutely!
I'm appalled at the backwards logic, lack of communication, and straight up lying.
If y'all want the car back - take it. I beg you. Get this pile of trash away from me. I don't want to talk to a single person from this company again.

This is a great family owned company, my brother and husband both worked for for years. We have bought a lot, I mean a lot of outfits!! And Murphy's law I guess had to happen. One month after our guaranteed new 2021 Chevy Truck, had to have a major repair, this was Dennis's 3rd buy within 3 yrs, counting getting our son Kyler Olson into their 2017 Chevy. I would of thought they would of looked into this and taken into consideration for the price we had to pay for it's repair. Just saying...

I want to thank Jason in service for working hard to fit me in on super short notice. Had a service bulletin on the tailgate of my truck that would keep me from being able to import the vehicle and he had it taken care of right away.
