I really enjoyed speaking with Ardette on the phone she was very polite, patient, knowledgeable and helpful. She also mentioned a promotion I had no idea about along with removing the installion and activation fee!!!Made me feel welcomed and answered the questions I had! When I came in to pick up my equipment, Roy at the front desk had a big bright smile and got what I needed with very few minutes of being there. Can't wait to continue business with these guys

Left St George, UT 4 years ago paying under $70 a month for gigabyte speed internet with guaranteed no raise of price. Moved to IF where for $130/month I could get 100MB. After 3 years of having every major tv viewing event interrupted with “buffering “ I saw a billboard advertising a gigabyte speed. When I called to see if I were eligible I was told I was getting 12MB speed but could upgrade to 100MB for $90/month. Lost my WiFi Wednesday. Earliest repair schedule was Friday. WiFi runs much of my house including light, heat, and entertainment. Technician comes Friday mid afternoon after my waiting most of the day. Walked on the rug dripping melted goo from his boots on the rug and fiddling for an hour informs me he can’t fix the problem and will send someone else. When asked when he replied I’ll order it right now and should be today. Ten to five with no one coming I call Sparklight. I get someone at an 877 number who says the local office is closed but he would leave a message concerning my problem that might be dealt with Saturday. It’s Saturday evening so with another fruitless day waiting I’m writing this review. When another company services my area I will be quit of Sparklight

I have been having problems with our internet for over 2 years. We have had numerous service calls and yet no solid fixes. I have made several 40 mile trips to the Idaho Falls office hoping for some assistance. They make appointments and expect you to stay home all day and wait for a technician. When I tell them I will only be available at certain times they say we will note the account that you need to be the first appointment. That has never occurred. They say that they have to work with technicians availability. What about the customers availability??!!! Obviously customers are not important. Without customers you would not need any employees. The last time a technician was here he said he couldn’t fix it because he had to notify an advanced technician because it was on the pole. And that is the excuse I get every time. It is very frustrating to pay for a service you are not getting. The service rep at the office was very kind and did give me a credit but I need, want and expect consistent and reliable internet coverage. If you are looking for that this is not the place to go. Time to look for another provider.

Don’t even deserve one star. We had our internet technician scheduled to come out on 12/5/23 between 3:15-4:15 I waited all day for him to show up for just them to put a sign on my door without knocking to say “sorry we missed you”. Horrible service and when I called support literally just after the tech left saying 3:40 is when he showed up. They said I’m the one who lied about the guy not knocking or showing up. Don’t go through them for internet, it’s just a scam!

Went to the office after a refund that I was supposed to receive on or about the 25th of October and have not received it. I was told that the check was sent on 16 November, and I "needed to just wait for it." I had previously spoken to someone on the phone about it. All the customer service person wanted to do was continue with a sales pitch (for 10 minutes). I will NEVER consider doing business with this company again.

Been a costumer for 12 years.But lately their service has been atrocious, ever since they went all in on tv using the internet, bad connections, wifi signal loss, network speeds to a crawl and outages, more in the last year then all previous years.The new erro pro 6 is so unstable, even with the latest version, auto channel changing, 5 g to 4 g by just restarting a device or turning it off then on again, client steering on or off, adding a device port does nothing.Looking for another isp as of today 11 20 2023

Tech went out of his way during install to make sure everything was up and running to our satisfaction - including a treasure hunt to find the actual cable in the house. Speeds are close to what we expected for what we ordered - 1Gig. Good communication from customer service; easy to order via website.Editing to add that the house is ~5500 sqft, 3 floors, and with a mesh system (already owned from previous house) we experience no drops.

I have always liked the speed that sparklight provides me. However, I just had the fastest speed (1gbps) installed in my home and was guaranteed with my size home that 1 eero device would cover everything with absolutely no drop. I even asked if my stairs would interfere with 5ghz and was told no it will be fine and if it does drop a booster can be supplied with no charge.Come the day of install its been nothing but headaches. The technician installed everything under my couch and I had to move it to a spot next to my couch. Nothing was updated and had to do that myself. After dealing with that I noticed that my upstairs is getting a fraction what I should be (maybe 30mbps). After several arguements about the devices capabilities and what they are being used as, a manager was claiming that I wasn't promised a booster and tried to offer a discount for a year and to move the eero. Which wouldn't fix the actual problem at hand. Sparklight has a 100% satisfaction guarantee and I'm far from satisfied since I'm now having to run a cat8 ethernet cord to my upstairs for the device that needs the speed. My home is less sqft than what one eero is suppose to cover. If the drop was only 100-400mbps I wouldn't have an issue but I'm losing all of the promised speed down to a measly 30 to 100.Sparklight I need you to be better about the satisfaction guarantee and make this right to me and whomever has to deal with a salesman throwing out lies just to get a sale

I just wanted to say thank youI internet service with you.I moved to a new location. The internal wiring looked suspect.I was having continual drops of service, irritating at best. A tech checked all of the wiring it was bad.Another tech can came yesterday. He laid out the wiring options. We picked the best from installation ease and service.The long story short, I've had no service drops since. Also my speed is back where it should be.

I have had Sparklight for over 9 years. They were ok, but I only needed their helped once in that time and it took over a 733week to get them to respond. Their service is ok, expensive, and support was a tech telling me to turn the box on and off.Today I am trying to return the equipment. There is only one staff at the counter and 5 people in line, 3 more came in while I waited. It took 21 minutes to get service. The staff was nice but the wait.was ridiculous

Pay over 100 dollars a month for high speed even though almost every hour the internet will drop and not work at all. Support is never a help with the problem. Definitely looking into a different internet provider.

Haven’t had issues with customer service, but getting the speeds I pay for is a consistent problem. Though I pay for the 1gig plan, I’m lucky if I get a 100mbps on any device, including devices that are wired in to the network.I’ve reported slow speeds multiple times they send someone out to check, and every time, speed goes up to around 650mbps while they’re here. They say that’s as close as we’ll get to the gig we pay for, then about 5 minutes after they leave, we drop back down to under 100mbps. They’ll come back and check again, same thing; they turn up the speeds while someone is here checking, then drop it back down.

We are moving to Idaho Falls for retirement and we were perusing the reviews to pick an internet provider. After reading these responses I would never use this company. All they can respond to a one star is call us. Maybe you should reach out to them and be proactive.

I got an offer in the mail that said I would pay $39/mo for the first 3 months, so I went for their service in my new home. I paid the first month in advance, and the second month they charged me $93. I checked and I did not go over in internet usage, but they didn't apply the offer so they were charging me $70 for the first and second month. Now in the third month, they still want me to overpay them again, even though they said I would receive credit.Don't go with them.

We have had sparklight since years before it changed from cable one. They used to be good but now they cap my data usage and charge me more money on top of their over priced, shotty internet. I just signed up for fiber and I get unlimited data for less than half what I paid at sparklight. $65 a month for unlimited, fast, reliable internet..my sparklight bill was $95 a month and if I go over data, sometimes my bill has been as much as $150. I'll be canceling my sparklight internet as soon as my fiber is up and running and I won't look back.
