Soapys Car Wash is a good and cheap place to wash a car, truck, or even bikes. It gets the job done and is pretty easy, with large tall bays for big vehicles like campers. The equipment is generally easy to use and up and running, offering a full pre-soak, soap, brush, and rinse. The hand wash does a decent job, though the touchless option does not clean very well. It can look a bit beat up and rundown, and some equipment can be hard to work with. Issues include card machines sometimes not taking cards, vacuums that do not work, and problems with the change machines. Despite this, it is considered a wonderful convenience for a basic clean.
Wash very good. Vacuums have almost zero suction. This was at the Sunnyside location. Tried four different ones.

A single pass with watered down soap and a “spot free rinse”. Had to take my car down to KJ’s after for another wash. LAME

I quit going to the Pony/Duck carwashes because of wheel damage. Using the brush does a decent job, but today I tried the 2nd and 3rd bays from the street side and neither took my card. I tried two cards without any luck. Might want to check those. I left with a dirty car. Maybe next time.
