On the way home from celebrating our wedding my husband, myself and our 3 kids broke down on the side of the rode. I called Kabrina with Sage Creep Repair in tears stressed to the max. She gave me recommendations on tow company's, we ended up trusting her recommendation so much we left our car on the side of the road and got a ride to a rental place. Kabrina quickly got my car into the shop the next morning to find the issue. After just 2 days my car was fixed and safe for me and my family again. The customer service, technicians, and shop were all top notch.I couldn't have asked for better service!

During my 3800 mile semi-annual migration from Seward Alaska to Florence Arizona, my truck began to leak transmission fluid while going through Alberta / Montana. I found Sage Creek Auto Repair via a Google search and called them. I spoke with Kabrina, who initially said they were booked-up for at least a week..... I informed her I was just passing through and prefer not to wait that long, and if there's another local shop she could recommend? Kabrina said she understood my circumstances and she would make an exception and put me at the front of the line, and to bring my truck in the next morning.I left the truck with them at 7:00 AM, by noon I received a detailed report via email and a link by text message of not only the transmission leak, but a very comprehensive inspection of the entire vehicle. My truck is a 2008 Dodge 3/4 diesel with 165,000 K miles, and they advised me of several issues, ranked by importance, that need to be addressed sooner than later. The drive-line input shaft was damaged, I need new U-joints, the front end (pitman-arm, ball joints) needs work, and both truck batteries were in need of replacement.I choose to have the transmission leak, the driveline & U-joint fixed by them. They finished the repairs quickly and no more leaks and vibration at lower speeds! I'm very satisfied with the repairs and happy to be on the road again.Another note is that while my vehicle was being repaired I was living in my camper, parked at a local RV park. April, the shop owner, gave me several rides to and from the shop as a courtesy. The shop staff I interacted with truly showed excellence in everything they did, which give me confidence that the repairs done to my vehicle were done correctly. I'd give them ten stars if I could!

I have a 2013 Ford F350 pickup that had two batteries that were dying each night after charging them each day. I went to the local O'Reilly Auto Parts store and asked that they test the batteries. According to the tech, the batteries were good and had about 25% life left. He did not recommend replacing them until late fall. After a lot of frustration, I took my truck to Sage Creek Auto Repair. They did a series of test and could not find a drain on the batteries when the ignition was off. They proposed that they change out the batteries and do addition testing. They suspected an additional power drain somewhere. I approve work not to exceed $1,047.After checking out my truck they suggested I let them do considerable additional fluids and filter maintenance work which they estimated at about $1,300.I called around for competitive pricing for the recommended additional work and I did not approve it.I got a quote from Ron's Tires in Rigby where I normally have my auto work done. Their estimate for the same work was less then half the cost.Kabrina at Sage Creek tried to convince me to let them do the work anyway which I declined.I asked Sage Creek how much their shop rate was. They responded that it was $165 / hr. They justified this rate by telling me that they only employed certified mechanics and compared what they did to having a doctor help with medical needs. I replied, for sure I would go to a doctor for that type of thing. But, did I need a doctor to test and replace a couple batteries.I turned out that all I needed was for them to have "load" tested the batteries and replace them.My bill was for over $800. However, what they did do resolved the problem. As I went to leave, I realized the check-engine light was on. I went back in and asked that they clear the code for dead batteries. They did and I left. Half way home, I realized that the performance chip controls on the dash were not functioning. I called them and asked if they had disconnected them. Kabrina stated that the only thing they had done was test and replace the batteries so there was no way they could have caused the problem. I went back anyway. It turned out that the chip controls were connect to the same port that they use to check codes. They had forgotten to reconnect it after clearing the codes.I would compare this to having surgery the doctor forgot to stitch me back up. To use their comparison to a certified tech and a doctor earlier.Needless to say I was frustrated and I told them so. They told me that if I had additional problems that they would fix them at no additional cost.I guess I should feel fortunate that they did not charge me the $1,045 that I had approved needed or not! After checking other one-star reviews, I anticipate they will respond talking about estimates and that I had approved them and they had charged less and that I had not informed them that there was a performance chip installed. That is true except that they had to disconnect it to clear the codes.I don't recommend that you have O'Reilly Auto Parts test or replace anything and certainly don't take your car or truck to Sage Creek with their doctors of automotive medicine.

Our car broke down during a road trip in Idaho Falls. We had AAA tow us to this shop. It had a labor intensive problem and they worked so hard to fix it quickly for us. They kept in contact and set reasonable expectations so we knew how to plan the rest of our time. The price was reasonable and the staff was personable. Great communication. Highly recommend.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Took my carthere to get a AC door motor fixed they had it for a week. When they tell you what a difficult job it is going to be you had better hang on to your wallet . The bill was 772.00 the part from ford was about 56 dollars and they had one in stock SCR ordered the part from some where else and got the wrong one even when they had the Vin # the second part they ordered was more money go figure. I felt that I was over charged by 200 dollars and will never go there again

We had a bad left front hub on our 2014 Jeep. We were only in town for two days because we’re traveling around the western US. The two women who work the desk at Sage Creek Repair were fantastic! They got us in and the technicians replaced our bad hub plus while it was on the hoist changed the oil and air filter. They also took us to a restaurant so we could get lunch while they repaired our jeep. They had us ready to go in a few hours and we continued on with our trip. Professional, quick, accommodating, helpful, fun to talk with, just a great bunch of people at this repair facility. If I lived in Idaho Falls, Idaho this location would become my full time service provider!!

Very professional staff! I had lots of questions and all were answered. I absolutely loved texts and emails that showed me precisely what needed to be fixed now, in the near future and to be observed until later. Informational little videos helped! Pictures and videos of areas needing work were very helpful! All of the open communication was excellent! There was detailed information at the what exactly was done for each service, testing of parts and pricing of labor and parts. Price close to fair market value. I thought they were a honest company! They went above in the extras! I appreciated the car wash as I hadn’t had one in a year. I will go again!

I had a radiator leak which required a new radiator. So, while they had the car, I also had SCR replace the timing belt (which was now somewhat overdue!) Both these repairs were significant, and I was very pleased with all the work SCR performed. In addition, I was both surprised and pleased with the level of follow up that was provided throughout the process, and as a result, I plan to continue this new relationship with SCR.Also, I do want to give a special thanks to Kabrina and her staff. They provided a service level that no longer exists in most establishments. They made a stressful journey almost enjoyable!!

I would give this auto shop 50 stars if I could. I was driving home from Jackson, WY to Reno NV when my clutch went out. I was towed to this shop on a Sunday and Monday morning they started looking at it right away and gave me the diagnosis by mid day. They were so helpful getting me information quickly because I needed to get home. I decided to tow my car home to think over what to do and one part would take days to get in which I could not wait on anyway. So I got a UHaul the next day and they helped me get my SUV on the trailer. Kabrina was so sweet and was understanding of my situation and wanted to help in any way she could. If I lived in Idaho Falls this would be my auto shop. I am so grateful for an honest company and very helpful and friendly staff.Service: Vehicle Inspection
