Spending hard earned money on things like a chipped-turned-into-giant-crack windshield down right blows and frankly, at my age, I think I'd rather get stuck upside down on a ferris-wheel at a low budget fair with a shady ride operator than forking over a few hundred bucks because I thought I was doing a good thing by choosing a higher deductible with my car insurance agent. Well, at least I faithfully get a birthday card from a guy I've never met who claims to have my family in his good hands but I digress. If I'm being honest, the folks at Safelite were so professional and kind, I could've sprung for new windshields for everyone in the joint. Place was clean, not that it matters much when we're talking about a garage, but I like a well maintained restroom if I'm required to sit and wait. Well, I didn't sit and wait but my kids usually have to experience every toilet they pass for some reason and they remarked that it was clean just like we keep ours at home. The only negative was my kids weren't strong enough to open the door to exit the restroom and are still in therapy successfully dealing with the few seconds of trauma they experienced. Did I mention it was clean though? I recommend a professional doorman to open the door for all people, strong or weak, who can dispense breath mints and spritz cologne. You know, you can tell a lot about a place by how they keep the most personal room in the building! I've digressed again- sorry, it's a gift. We immediately felt welcome and in order to save my appointment, they had to find a windshield somewhere else since there was a shipping snafu. Rather than inconvenience me they absorbed the problem and gave me an upgraded product. Imagine that! Old school, good business, likeable experience, professional people, who also referred a pretty good Chinese restaurant nearby, which maybe I'll write a review after I spend a little quality time in my own glorious restroom.

I had my car detailed on the inside about a week ago. I had my window replaced this last Monday and the technician that replaced my windshield left dirt and grime on the dash and everything inside. If this is the kind job they do I would be careful about having them come to your place. I am not impressed at all and would not recommend them at all.

For me and my insurance satellite is my first choice. We seem to go for a new widow a year. Best auto glass shop in Eastern Idaho.

You need to pass a purity test via a computer before they will consider you for a customer.
Let me business 101 you.
1.) I have cash.
2.) You have the service and would like to make cash.
3.) Both parties are happy.
If I can't reach a human being, if I can't get service. You don't get my cash or my patronage. I have four vehicles they all have windshields.
Safelite's, overly complicated computer aided system interferes with that business relationship.
And to that I say, "No thank you."
I'm thankful I read the reviews. Now to pick a mom and pop business that answered their phone and took the cash. Yaaay commerce!

The part that they had on Monday was damaged, but they came to my house on Tuesday and replaced both windshields for my vehicles.

Horrible!!! I told them numerous times that i already paid 500 for my windshield replacement back in april, took them 2 months to order and replace my windshield, my appointment kept changing last minute. And told them to make sure that i wont be charged again. And they did. Now im charged 1000 for deductible and have to contact and go over dispute. It is not like i did not tell them, guess they just didnt care. Dont ever come here.

Very quick and easy service. Got a crack replaced and it only took 20 mins. It was easy to put in my insurance information and I was able to get it covered. The only thing that is unfortunate is that they don’t offer mobile repair services (at least whenever I would try and book online)

Complete scam artists if you ask me!!
After having a small rock chip repaired at Safelite, within a few months it started to spread again. I called to have it fix as it was still a very small run and was told they don't fix "failed repairs" and I would have to have a new windshield installed - AT MY EXPENSE!
Once the crack spread, I finally broke down and had my windshield replaced at the same location. After getting my car back, I immediately noticed things weren't right. Long story short, the dealership verified I had the wrong windshield and it was affecting the operations of my auto headlights, wipers and display settings. I was told by Safelite that I would have to email them to request a factory windshield. So I did, 3 times, before I finally got a call and was told they could order a new windshield but they would NOT refund for the incorrect one. Her words..."It doesn't sound like that windshield will work for anyone so we won't be able to reuse it and so we can't refund your insurance." NOT MY PROBLEM!! First of all, they want me to replace the windshield because of their faulty repair, and then they want me to pay again, because they installed the wrong windshield. Absolute SCAM!! To say I'm an unhappy customer is an understatement.
