We are black card members who are van lifers. We always have a great time at any PF that we visit. Helpful and kind staff, clean locker rooms and all the gym equipment you could ask for!

I am a Black Card member because I like to use the HydroMassage bed after working out. Unfortunately, this year the HydroMassage bed has been inoperable quite a bit. It's inoperable as I write this review. This is quite annoying, making me consider dropping the Black Card membership.

Honestly the main reason I prefer planet to other gyms is the 30 minute workout area. It's for people in a pinch, or people just getting into, or just getting back into exercising. However no one was monitoring it tonight people were playing on their phones at the machines, jumping out of order, or just coming in to do multiple rounds of sets.. that's not the point of the area and none of the employees did or said anything to them.. I shouldn't have to enforce that area for the people working there.. imma give it another try but if it's anything like tonight I'll probably cancel and go to a different gym.

I always feel comfortable at planet fitness. The value of the services offered exceeds every other gym that I looked into. The best thing I ever did was ask another couple what their experience had been as they had mentioned that they had been members at one time of all of the gyms in the area and this is where they had decided to keep their membership. That meant a lot as I considered other gyms. I’m glad I listened and I agree with them. I even let my wife give away my old treadmill as I will be coming here exclusively now.?

Changing my review, I still disagree with planet fitness's business model greatly. However, the people there are good and are very helpful when they have the ability to be. The facilities are clean and the massage chairs are nice. Thank you to the people who helped me even though I didn't check my spam for an email. 3 stars because business model.

Always Packed and everyone hogs machines for hours it’s beyond frustrating and pointless. I already took things up with management and nothing changed I was nodded to and given a page to sign to cancel my membership. I don’t think the team gives a flying anything there.

Sad to have to come on here and leave a review like this.
I have been a member of planetfitness since they open their location here in idaho falls. I have never had any issues with staff or payment. In March I decided to cancel my membership because I was not using it but 2 times a year. Well I deceide that maybe it was time to get serious about my health and went a head and rejoined this month. During sign up I was told I'd be charged a $1 fee for start up and then on the 24th I'd be charged my regular monthly fee. Today I noticed my account was over charged so I called the idaho falls location to ask why i was wrongfully charged. Andrew answered and said he'd be happy to look into it. After pulling up my account I was informed that I was over charged because when I signed up I put in wrong banking information and when they tried to pull the monthly fee it didn't go through. I explained to him that there must be miscommunication because they had successfully pulled money at sign up so there was no way my banking information could be wrong. I also asked why they would try to pull my monthly fee a week before it was due. He said he couldn't tell me. I said we'll I'd be happy to share bank statements for the first transaction. He then said the extra charges were for a late fee. I them again shared that I would be happy to bring in back statements to share previous successful transactions as well as my balance from joining to prove there would have been plenty of funds to pull. He said there was nothing they could do and then said i was more than welcome to cancel at any time.
Super upsetting to be told that after years of buisness and proof that it wasn't my fault and wrongfully charged. Very unpleasant customer service from Andrew!
