I have always been a fan of ICCU, so much so that I closed my account with my previous credit union to join ICCU. I have been trying to get the company I work for to transfer their accounts from Chase to ICCU. However, I will no longer be making that recommendation. I set up recurring payments for my credit card at this branch. However, when my next credit card payment was due, no transfer was initiated. So I made a full payment at the branch during which time two representatives confirmed that recurring transfers had been set up, but it wouldn't be active until my next billing cycle. I was told there would be no late fee and the (now late) payment would not affect my 800+ credit score. I made a full payment and was subsequently charged a late fee in late September. I contacted Customer Service in Coeur d'Alene. They said that recurring transfers had not been set up on my account. After the better part of an hour, they confirmed that the recurring transfer form had been filled out, but was not entered into the system. A refund on the fee was issued.I understand that individuals make mistakes. But to have three tellers confirm in error that I was set up on auto-pay (or recurring transfers) is untenable. I rely on the collective competence of these branch members. But they collectively fail to be reliable in this instance. The only reason why I'm give three stars instead of one is because the issue was eventually resolved.

Been with iccu since they opened up here in idaho falls. Then today I'm looking at my savings account, and they charged it $5.00 for a "returned mail fee". They didn't even say anything, how long would they have just kept charging that account without saying anything, till it was empty? Very disrespectful. Considering taking my business elsewhere.

Very satisfied with iccu. Never had a problem with them. Whenever I call or go in for any assistance they are very helpful. Highly recommend ICCU and their employees

Worst iccu branch to go to. Managers are a bunch of inconsiderate low lifes. I never have problems until i go to this branch. Everytime i go to a diffrent one they take care of me. Do not go to this one

Terrible service and worse knowledge. Would not allow us to purchase tickets for the parade of homes with a credit card without an ID (it is prohibited by Visa and Mastercard to require an ID for purchase). Workers were very snarky and rude to my wife when she went in to buy the tickets with my card and to me as well when I informed them that they can not require an ID to make a purchase. They again said they required an ID to make a credit card purchase. We will be taking our business elsewhere (already did for the parade of homes tickets and will not be following our previous plan to open an account with ICCU).

I opened my first CC with ICCU in June 2021 after having a checking and savings account with them for 4 years. I decided at the 11 month mark of having my CC that I would apply online for the Premier Rewards Card. A rep called me and through the process, they specifically told me my credit history from the old card would be transferred to the new card account so my credit score "wouldn't be affected". Of course the only impact on my credit score would be the new hard inquiry which is normal. Fast forward a month later, I get two notifications from Experian and Credit Karma. My Equifax score dropped 149 points to a 576 and my Experian dropped about 75 points. I called them and they said that was a mistake and that they don't transfer the old history from my first Secured Card to the new card I applied for. Why would I apply for a new card if the most important card I have with my oldest credit age/history would disappear? After being on the phone with 3 reps, they said it was a mistake and apologized. They seem like they've never experienced this before. That could cost someone 10,000's of dollars in interest if they were doing inquiries for new homes. That is a huge mistake. I've always enjoyed having ICCU as my credit union, the service is quick and the reps are nice, but that is too far.Update: Natalie the manager and third person just called me. She started saying "I just wanted to let you know that a hard pull can impact your score". A hard pull would not decrease an Equifax score by 150 points, deleting a year of history on accident would though.

Good credit union always good to work with. I have 3 mortgages and 1 auto loan with them as well as checking and savings accounts. Switch from east Idaho credit union as their customer service has gone way down.

I have been with ICCU for about 7 years now. I went into the one on 25th to get a loan. First off the building is just perfect it was clean the staff was just so happy everyone of them had smile on their face. They had us take a seat said it would be a few minutes and someone would be with us shortly. We barely took and seat and Laura was ready for us. 10 out of 10 she was fantastic! She was the nicest person I have ever met. It took a little bit of time to get all the information changed on my account and updated but she didn’t mind. Laura even stayed a little late to finish up the paperwork with us. Best experience I have ever had to the point I am sad I don’t have to finance anything else at the moment because she was so great to work with. Great job ICCU I’m very impressed as always!!

If I could give a zero I would. I paid my bill off in full and have never been late. Call in today to get a$13.94 interest that they put on after I paid off my bill. They would not wave the fee. Poor customer service and I would not recommend them or use the card again. Watch your bill with these guysSpoke with Nate Casida- the retention specialist about this issue and the issue never got resolved. So guess who had to pay- yes me the consumer. This bank would not take the lost, I had too. Never use this company.Side Note, I use this company to buy three cars through, never again will they get my money. Bye

We love ICCU! Best credit union we've ever had! We love how many ATM locations they have, and the one on 25th E/Hitt is the most convenient. The staff is always extra friendly, whether over the phone, at the drive thru, or in person. It's easy to reach someone by phone if we need help. We really like their app, too. We'll be with ICCU for a very long time!
