The lack of customer service is terrible here. They have no communication to their customers about product that has been ordered. It's been damaged that has been refunded without the customers being told. I have never in my wildest dreams, thought that this mistake could've been made twice in such a short amount of time. It's almost as if the employees are afraid to talk to their customers. Businesses that don't update or take responsibility for their customers lose them to other places this is not because of the employee this is because management doesn't know how to drum the service and the value of that service into their employees. You can give the customer 20 30, 5070% off to make up for wrongdoings, but it's not going to fix the customers outlook of a shotty run business. I'm sorry, but I give it two tries. I'm not gonna give it a third. I'll go someplace else.

We are in the middle of building our home and have had nothing but issues with this store. The worst was our experience ordering our kitchen cabinets. The employee helping us knew nothing about designing a kitchen. Our first issue was he put an apron sink in our design which we didn't want. We'd already bought our sink and had to return it and by an apron sink which cost us more. Next he made the measurements so tight that we literally had to cut off the trim between every cabinet to get them to fit. ( when we asked about it he said oh I always leave a 3" margin of error). Nope not this time! Then we had a hidden pantry so the entrance to that was suppose to be an empty cabinet for a walk through. We'll that had all built in shelves and 6 small front doors. We asked about that he said " you'll have to modify it"! That wasn't discussed while ordering. Then to top it off he threw in 6" crown molding which we didn't want or order or even discuss with him. That alone was $1k. When we talked to them about all of the issues they said they would take back the large cabinet but they would charge us a 20% restock fee and we would have to haul it back to the store(2 1/2 hr drive). They told us they would not reimburse us for the crown molding. I would avoid ordering cabinets from there at all cost! We didn't even get an apology!

If you want to save time, go to lowe's or ace. I was on hold for more than 20 minutes while they were "finding" the item that I needed. Terrible overall experience.

I don't usually write negative reviews, but this deserves one. I needed new appliances and live in a remote area with few choices for stores. After doing research online and finding some at Home Depot in Idaho Falls, I was unable to order online. I tried to call the store directly, but no one ever answered. After several attempts, I decided to stop by the next time I drove through Idaho Falls (60+ miles away). I did, and was actually helped by a very competent woman who ordered the appliances and was very pleasant. I was eventually notified that the order was ready to be shipped, but that one of the appliances was damaged and that I'd need to look at it to decide if I wanted to keep it or order a new one. But that they couldn't send pictures or do a video call. We set a date for delivery and I hired a contractor, only to learn at 3:00 pm that day that they were "unable to attempt" the delivery. I was given several numbers to call, and finally was called back by the IF Home Depot store manager who said the delivery was scheduled on a day that doesn't include my service area and that it would be 11 more days, but that I wouldn't have to pay for the shipping... So I am looking forward to rescheduling the contractor, which is nearly impossible, and hoping that the damage on the appliance isn't so bad that it needs to be returned, re-ordered and re-shipped. There are so many opportunities for improvement here, it's stunning. I know it's hard to find people to work at all, but please, empower, educate and pay those you do have to be as good as the one woman I dealt with. Otherwise, you're just another commodity, your value goes way down and your competitors win.

Terribly filthy store, employees don't know where things are. Only one brand Behr of outside stain., which is not rated good. Went to take something back and they had no cash and wanted to give a store credit. Which is good if I was ever coming back, which I'm not. Haven't been there in a while, and store hasn't changed, so probably won't go back...

Went in today (7/10/2021) Store wasn't super busy, was able to find the boards I needed easily, went over to have them cut down to the sizes I needed, after a couple minutes an employee that was obviously busy made contact with us, and said he'd be back in a few minutes to help. Meanwhile, 2 other employees finished with the forklift (they had been getting product down) parked the forklift, and proceeded to literally dance around in the aisle for about 10 minutes I kid you not, they were doing what appeared to be "the sprinkler" in the middle of the aisle..... after this had gone on for about 10 minutes I approached the gentleman, his name was Tim, and asked for his managers name. Then I went to the front desk and asked for a manager, none could be located...... luckily, I was able to go to LOWES and get everything I needed, and was able to do it with more help than I could ask for.

Worst service available. Most of the employees are literally clueless. There are a couple knowledgeable ones, but they are impossible to locate. To tell you my tile fiasco, your mind will be blown away with the stupidity I had to deal with. This is the short version. There is much more but, here is the jist. First the lady told me the tile I had bought the day before was clearance now and no longer in stock. Then she told me wait, it was in stock and she had 45 in store! I was pleasantly happy because I literally only needed 2 pieces for my tile guy to finish the job. Even after I repeated which tile, double checking, she reassured numerous times that she had 45 in stock. My gut told me she was wrong. So I called back and another employee told me no it was not in stock and also I had to order an entire case of the tile. There were no options to just order the two I needed. **On another irritating note. The Idaho Falls Home Depot starts turning off their lights throughout the entire store even before closing time. It was 5 to 9 and all of a sudden lights start going off everywhere when I was still looking at tile. Another lady was looking at vinyl flooring. This made it extremely difficult to see let alone choose what I needed quickly in the dim light. So RUDE!!! They don't even care that people cant see. This is not only a lack of consideration issue its a safety issue and needs to be halted immediately.

The staff is very helpful, and were quick to guide me to online products through their app.
