This bank is by far the most customer focused bank I've ever been to. I feel like I'm the only customer every time I come in.

They love to take from the unfortunate.. nothing but bad experiences. They make it super easy to get screwed over every way possible:)Costumer service is pretty good though. Super nice staff just crappy hidden things they don't mention or alert you about. I would avoid unless absolutely necessary.

They refused to count my roles of change due to their POLICY after sending me away from their smaller branch n telling me to go to the main branch. Their coin machine was down and I explained I need to deposit it now due to a bill coming through and they sent me to Albertsons to use the coin star which cost me $15 to use and I was not compensated. I asked Wellfargo if they would take coin and they said absol as long as they're rolled which is understandable. I'm not short in my account because I had to pay a fee to deposit money. I don't see the point on banking here anymore. I will be canceling my account.

I have been with EICU for over 30 yeast and have been happy with them, but not anymore. In December 2021 I made a large deposit and was told I would not be able to use it for one week. Well the week came and went and I had to call them after 10 days to finally be able to use my own money. Last week in December 2022 I made a deposit and it is still pending. It was a check I wrote from another account I have. I know that it has cleared my other bank, but EICU told me funds will not be available to me until January 17th. So I can't get the $ to use from them or from my other bank. I had a small Venmo payment go through so they put $1000 on my line of credit and charged me to do it. I also have a Visa account with them with no balance with a limit that would have covered the deposit. Just terrible business practices. I will be done with them!Also I bought a new car last summer and when I went to EICU to finance it they told me I had to go somewhere else as they didn't work with Utah dealerships.

Not happy with this bank. Recently deposited a cashiers check, checked the account hours after the deposit and all looked ok. Noticed today that the account is majorly overdrafted, with no communications from the bank of why. Called today to see what happened and they were no help and said we would have to wait until the 8/2 for us to get money in our account including continuing to add overdraft fees to our account until then, and couldn't even reverse them until then even though it's available. Again not happy.

Would give zero if I could! Got a truck loan through East Idaho Credit Union, ordered it through the dealership, hasn't been delivered yet, get a letter in the mail staying if there's no insurance on the truck, they will charge an additional $7500 to the loan. I called the insurance company they go through, insurance service center, and two separate people I spoke to stated it was fine to not have collision until the truck has been delivered. I go in today to see if everything is still good, am instructed to speak with Janice about the loan. She couldn't even be bothered to leave her office. Not only was I not important enough to speak to face to face, so a third party needed to be involved, she bluntly wrote me off saying they were going to charge me an additional $7500 on the loan, no matter what the two other people I spoke to said. I would strongly discourage anyone who is thinking of ordering a truck or car to not get a loan through East Idaho credit union, as they go against their own words, can't even give you the time of day, and write you off like you are nothing.

Terrible service. I took out an auto loan through them and they sent me a notice saying that I missed my payment, but failed to tell me on the notice how I could make a payment. Their website is terrible and completely not user friendly. I tried to input my loan information but the account wouldn't register. After calling them, they stated that I couldn't make any transactions over the website, but only over their phone app. How does that make any sense?? Transactions should be able to be done both ways. Anyway, they refused to wave my late fee because it was past couple days from the due date. I decided to instead just pay the entire loan off so I wouldn't have to deal with these clowns. At least I don't have a loan through these guys anymore.

The folks in the Salmon Branch work hard and deserve 4 stars.The home office in Idaho Falls, on the other hand, have messed up things on numerous occasions (billing, addresses, notifications, follow-thru) and they deserve only two stars---hence the three stars.

I really have not had any issues with EICU. I have been with them for 3 years. I really like that they're opening a branch in Pocatello and that they have one branch in Shelley. I used the Ammon branch a lot and I've never had issues.
