Dr. Rhinehart was so nice and so patient. He made sure that my prescription was 100% what I needed. Usually with most places I feel rushed but he made me feel comfortable and important.

Great location. Parking is easy and there are plenty of spaces available. There is rarely a line for gas. Good gas prices. The pumps are well maintained. Fast service at automotive . We got new tires and a battery no issues and very timely. Great food selection. Friendly staff and short lines. Weekdays definitely are less crowded. Win win.

Went today to pick up some items ( which by the way they were out of several things so what was the point) as you know when u go in they check ur card and when ur at the register u insert said card and are checked again at the door for the receipt. Annoying but doable. Now they are checking your card before u even get to the register! 4 times people? Reeks of border patrol except you can get into the U S easier than Costco! With my products not being there and getting checked another time (4) smfh. I will not be renewing and I will be shopping at Sam's from now on! Totally stupid!!

What can I say it's Costco!We have found some pretty great healthy options here! And a few of those being from France.I will say it seems smaller then other Costco's I've been to. (California, Vegas, Virginia, for comparison). Might just be my imagination though.You know the famous food samples? I don't personally care, but for those of you that might at least when we go there aren't many or any. But we do usually go an hour or three before closing, so keep that in mind if your into the samples.The food court is delicious as always, but also seems to have less options then others I've been too.All around though the staff is chipper and it's a good experience and they usually have something new and interesting! Oh and the Gas station is usually quick as well and a very competitive price!

People were friendly. Jess at membership was extremely unhelpful. I asked about getting my 19 year old son a membership and she didn't do it. She just said to do it online and that I should already have a membership. I live In Washington and he lives in Idaho. I thought everyone else was nice and helpful. Jess needs training.

Dr. Rhinehart is hands down the BEST optometrist out there. I refuse to see anyone except him. He always goes above and beyond to help me out with whatever I need!!! He’s extremely kind and caring. I will never stop recommending him!! I’m grateful to have such an amazing local optometrist.

Dr Rhinehart and his staff went above and beyond to help me when I had gotten myself into a pickle. I tore my last left contact lens earlier today (thinking I had more) and couldn’t see at all, about to head out on a trip. Without an appointment and after hours (they stayed about 30 mins late for me), Dr Rhinehart and his staff got me taken care of. Thanks so much!

I have never had such a difficult time simply ordering contacts from Costco optical. The lack of communication and incorrect information given to my husband and I, has led to increased frustration as well as time and money spent. What should have been a simple process has turned into a months long struggle to get what we paid for.My husband scheduled an appointment with this optical office for an eye exam in order to get new contacts. He was told that an order had been placed for his contacts and he would receive a phone call when they were in. However, Costco optical put a hold on the order with no communication to us at all. Why was there a hold? Apparently you can’t order contacts without trying on the trial pair… something we were never informed about. So when we got a call that the contacts were ready to be picked up, we drove an hour to this Costco expecting to get the contacts we ordered but were informed that no such order existed. On top of that, the trial pair (which they forgot to mention) was also not ordered. Since we live so far away, we asked the trial pair to be shipped and were informed that they’d arrive in the mail in a couple of weeks. Fast forward to today, we go to the optical department to check in on the shipment… they had been waiting at the optical office with no communication to us at all! Despite our frustration, my husband tried them on and finally was able to order his contacts after hours of being stuck there. To top it off, we asked them to ship it directly to our apartment and they got the shipping address wrong after we literally wrote it down!Frustrating does not even begin to accurately describe this whole process. Currently still trying to have them fix the shipping address after being put on hold for 30 minutes.

We have always used a doctor at Costco Optical, this is the first time in 20 plus years that we felt the eye doctor was definitely not up to standards. It's actually the eye doctor that was at Sam's Club locally for a long time. The receptionist must have made an error when she copied the information for the prescription. My husband ended up with glasses that were Progressive and had almost no vision when he looked one direction and all field of vision when he looked the other direction. We thought it was an eyeglass issue as far as quality. The eye lens / frame Department couldn't help us and the optometrist insisted they were correct. They kept telling him he just had to get used to them , he's not a newbie. My husband has been suffering with this for 2 years now. We just went to a different eye doctor and found that the prescription itself was incorrect which is on the doctor and the Costco optical department didn't measure his face correctly which left the progressive Fields not in the correct spot. We paid hundreds of dollars for these glasses, somewhere around 600 or 700 and it was a waste of money for 2 years and 2 years of stress for him. They couldn't even find his records, 3 months after our visit to that optometrist we called to have the prescription sent to get my husband's safety glasses. She literally told us that she would have to find it and it will be a few days. Never have I heard such a thing to get a copy of a script. When I said that wasn't acceptable she told me there's nothing she can do about it they're behind and she has to pull the paper script which is in a pile of paperwork from the last 3 months. Just save your money. If you really want to get your eyeglasses there go to a different doctor and bring your prescription in and order your glasses. The lens itself that Costco has been using is also not up to par with the technology in the lenses nowadays. The clarity of the new lenses we got from elsewhere is fantastic compared to costco.

If you are expecting a super clean store, well stocked shelves, excellent product choices, great prices and fully staffed with non-woke employees, then you came to the right place, Costco in Idaho Falls is outstanding. Approximately 26.4 times better than Sam's Club. We have decided not to renew our Sams Club membership. While most places are still struggling to hire employees that refuse to work and refuse to be knowledgeable and refuse to provide great service because they are WOKE and feel entitled to have a job, Costco folks are friendly, polite, professional and are always busy working (I appreciate that ).

Super Great Deals!-Costco is a great deal! Just expect to spend a lot in one trip, most items range between 10-30 dollars. Still is a great deal for the bulk you are getting. FAVORITE PART is hands down is the food court, super cheap and delicious food!
