Got my tires rotated, they then told me that my front suspension was in bad shape and that my ball joints needed to be replaced. They said I should come back in and get it fixed which they said it would cost a few grand. They told me that my tires could fall off as I’m driving if I don’t get it fixed… I took it to another mechanic to get a second opinion and he said there was nothing wrong with the ball joints and the front suspension was in great shape. Wow, don’t get scammed by commercial tire!!

I live an hour away and that hour is well worth bringing my truck to this Commercial Tire. It's comforting to know that I'm not paying for services not needed when I take my truck to this commercial tire. The customer service is amazing. And they get the job done in a timely manner.would recommend these guys to anyone

When you need something done and need it done correctly, take it to Joe and his incredible team here at Commercial Tire! I was in need of a vehicle inspection for a truck I was looking at buying via private party, I was on a time crunch and couldnt quite wait as long as I was hoping to be able to have Joe look it over for me first, so I ended up having to go the other place, Les Schwaab... I told them I was looking to buy this vehicle, but before I do, I need a thorough inspection of everything, front to back to know if there is anything wrong or andyrhing needing repair prior to my decision so I dont find out about it later. I told them the tires are shot so I know Ill be needing at least tires, looks like there was some front end work done to it, but something still feels off and weird in the steering wheel you can feel it and hear it, and I thought there might be an oil leak and transmission leak if they could just double check EVERYTHING, and make sure EVERYTHING, was good on it and see if we can confrim where the two leaks might be comming from. They took it in pulled the wheels off supposably checked everything, came back and told me everything looked good, and that the tires are actually still good, theres just some slight uneven wear on the shoulders of the front, but all I needed was an alignment, and brakes, and said yep theres an oil leak and a transmission leak... Printed me a piece of paper showing everything looked good but recomend brakes and an alignment. So based off the info I was given I decided to move forward and purchase the vehicle, still knowing that the tires in the front were garbage, I just didnt want to argue with them, and id plan on getting tires with the extra money I saved from making my offer to the owner of the truck. After leaving with the truck and bill of sale, I still had a gut feeling something was still wrongband that something was overlooked, I took it Joe as it was about the time he told me earlier in the day that he would be able to squeeze me in. I told him the same thing I told the other place, there was front end work done to the truck, the front tires are shot, and i think there might be an oil leak and possible transmission leak, but I cant see where. I asked if they could just go through it and do a thorough inspection of it and double check everything, and if they could do an oil change on it since I just bought it. Within 10 mins of then getting it in and looking it over Joe came up front and pulled me to the back to show me what they had found. They confirmed that the front two tires were junk and unsafe to drive on with excessive shoulder wear on them and numerous cracking and flat spots, showed me the wheels TPMS Sensors were not even secure on the rim with the proper lock collar, and the only thing holding them in place was the corrosion and flaking chrome on the wheel, and was one rock hit away from making it pop out of place and losing a tire. They showed me the new upper and lower ball joints had been improperly installed causing excessive play and damage to the steering alignment knuckle on both driver and passenger side, inner tie rod ends worn out, very clear and obvious damage to the power steering axel seal and seal plate, likely caused from improper removal of the old cv axel, as the cv axles on it were new. They also looked for the oil leak, but didnt find one, said it was likely a messy oil refill on a prior oil change. Which I did confirm was the case as thebprevious owner admitted to making a mess and didnt clean all of it up. And possibly a small leak in the transmission pan gasket, and the brakes are worn and need replaced. After hearing all of this I was quite surprised and honestly pretty annoyed, however this is exactly the reason I take my vehicles to Joe and his team. They are all a good group people here very professional, honest and up front, and they will tell you exactly how it is, whether its good bad or ugly! These are the guys I can trust! This is exactly why I will continue to give these guys my business, and not the other place.

The Commercial Tire in Ammon, Idaho replaced the front brakes on my Ram Truck last year. The truck is used to haul a large and heavy fifth wheel RV. The brake pads on the right passenger side failed, most likely due to the heavy load of our fifth wheel. The warranty coverage was 2 years or 25,000 miles which ever comes first. We had driven 31,000 miles so it was no longer covered. I bought new pads and a rotor and had planned to do my own repairs. I called and talked to Joe, the owner of the store, and asked him if there was any chance that if I provided the parts they could cover the labor. He set up an appointment to look at the problem and after checking the truck, repaired the brakes without a labor charge. He and his staff are super friendly and helpful. I'm grateful for their service and can recommend them without hesitation to anyone that needs tires or auto repairs!

Took my truck in to bleed my brakes and rotate my tires. There was air in the line because I changed out a broken brake hose. They didn’t bleed my rear brakes (but charged me for it) because the brake pedal still went nearly all the way to the floor after it was done. I took my truck back and had them do it again, and they STILL didn’t get the air out. I ended up having to buy a bleeder on Amazon and did it myself. Vacuumed out a lot of air, and now it works fine. They also didn’t bother to check my flashing TPS because they just said it would turn off on its own. It never did, and when I took my truck back, they said three of the sensors had low batteries, and wanted to charge me $70 a sensor to change them. Why they didn’t tell me this the first time is beyond me. Walmart can reset them and charges half the price, which is sad. They basically hung up on me when I told them I was able to vacuum out the air myself. They just didn’t bother to do the tasks I needed done, but were happy to charge me for it.

They just replaced my shocks/struts as well as a couple other things and they won me over as a faithful customer. Joe is amazing! Not only is he friendly and genuine but he’s also knowledgeable and very honest. I’m not educated when it comes to vehicle maintenance and it sucks when people take advantage of that. Joe was very patient with me as he discussed the issues with my vehicle, what needed to be done and why…. He provided an accurate estimate and kept me updated throughout the process. These guys are awesome! Thank you so much!

This review is long overdue!! Joe, Natasha, and his team are absolutely amazing. The most honest person I have ever met, and I had a lot of cars before! I love how accommodating Joe is, he will never try to upsell you, and will let you know if something is serious or not a priority. Many times he took our cars in at the last minute, always followed up, and was transparent on everything. My sister had an issue with her Jeep that no one could figure out, so Joe took her car literally apart until he found what was wrong with it, and saved her thousands of dollars in unnecessary work! This is 1000% honest feedback, don't look anywhere else, trust Joe! I will always bring all our vehicles in!Thank you, Joe, Natasha, and the team for being honest people, and so hardworking. I hope everyone trusts your business as much as we do!!P.s. if you work at INL, you get 10% off.

These guys were fantastic! I live 4 hours away and lost my alternator. Joe bent over backwards to get me back on the road in a day. Plus!…he was very fair in his pricing. He charged me less than half what I was quoted by the competitor I was initially dealing with. Great experience.

Jo has won over my business forever with commercial tire. He is respectful, honest, and knowledgeable. He always goes above and beyond to make me feel like my car needs are taken care of without feeling taken advantage of with my lack of car knowledge. Truly appreciate everyone there.
