My new Ram pickup (purchased from Ron Sayer) had a few recalls in the winter of 22. On top of this, there was a check engine light going on and off for the DEF system. I scheduled an appointment with the service folks (which takes 1-2 months for this dealership) and after telling them what I needed fixed and had my appointment set. After the long wait, i dropped my pickup off at the dealer and went to work. When I got back to the dealer, they told me they were able to fix 1/2-3 recalls and that they could not do anything about the check engine light because "They could see that it had been turning on but couldn't do anything unless it was on at the dealer". The other recalls they told me that RAM only allowed them one part per week and they would have to reschedule me.Note that it didn't matter that they knew i needed these recalls fixed for the months before i was able to get an appointment. I asked them to order the parts and they told me that they would contact me when they were ready. They never called. After learning that the parts were never ordered or that they failed to contact me (it is really unclear because they don't offer any details during conversation), I asked them to order them and again, was never contacted. Around a year later, the check engine light finally stuck on and didn't go off. So, I thought " what a great opportunity to get this fixed under warranty and finally get my parts for the recalls". So, I called, asked them to order the parts, and got an appointment for two months later. As a precaution, I called the day before my appointment to ensure they had ordered the parts for the recall. They had not ordered them.. However, as luck would have it, they had a few extras at the dealership. A day later, i dropped off the truck at the dealer to be fixed. Right when i was getting off work, I was called and informed that they were able to fix the recalls, but that they had to order a part for the DEF system and it would take over a week. They were unable to offer a car for me (they were all being used) and said they were sorry. I was mad, but i knew i had no choice so i said "ok" and used uber for a week. When the day i was ensured i would have my pickup back rolled around, I was called at 4 pm and informed that Ron Sayer had ordered the wrong part, went to fix the pickup, and realized that it was the wrong part. It would take an additional week and a half and again they had no vehicle to offer me. They were sorry. I rented a Ford F-150 and started the process of trying to figure out how to get the rental reimbursed. After a few extra days had passed past the week and a half they promised, I called and asked when i could expect my truck to be ready. They said "the parts department told us it will be here in another week". At this point i was justifiably mad. I called FCA and made a complaint and FCA was surprised by the story and said they would reimburse me for a rental. Then after another 4 days had passed, I called again and was informed it would take another week. Today I called to enquire when they would have the part. They informed me the timeline was going to be extended yet again.. Truck owners are the single most loyal vehicle customers in the market. It takes alot to turn us off our preferred brand. Ron Sayer has accomplished doing that for me. I understand a dealership is valued based off its sales.. probably not that hard for Ron Sayer considering they are the sole dodge/RAM/Jeep/Chrystler dealer in Idaho Falls. But to us owners, the mark of the business is the service we are provided. Ron Sayer is the absolute worst service i have ever experienced from any business. Ever.

Total hustle. Just take your money elsewhere. I bought a BMW from sister dealer and it definitely wasn't for me after just 4 months. Decided to trade for a new Jeep grand Cherokee limited, and let the rip off side show BS Never end. Service department always booked out at least a month, (what's that tell you). Should have known better in the first place actually.

Don't go here in an emergency! I was traveling home to Montana when my 2021 Wrangler with 11,000 miles was overheating. This is in June. Ron Sayer said they couldn't get me in until August even when it would be warranty work. The near by Toyota dealer not only reached out to Ron Sayer dealership to try and help me(to no avail) they got me in same day. If you need work done immediately, go somewhere else.

In October I bought a 2023 Jeep Wagoneer1 with the upgrades of a 2. With in 4 weeks the radio is saying Temporary auto tune mass mode is temporally UNAVAILABLE AND THE RADIO HAS STACIC AND SHUTS DOWN and loses volume. Fast forward to today and several trips to the service dept and leaving it for days at a time. Chris Sayer tells me to come in they have another one they will trade me out and make it right. I drive over there they tell me after about a hour that the payment will stay with in 20.00 . GREAT another 20-30 min later a guys walks out the with a paper and it will only cost me 29,000 to switch to the other jeep Wagoneer 2 that is exactly the same is mine no difference other than color. They are telling that Jeep won't let them replace it and it not their fault they just sell this car. Please beware of this place. I am living a nightmare trying to get a radio fixed. This really should not be this hard.

Scam from the beginning. Sales guy named Dusty who actually stole the lead from the online rep. Had my own finance done with my credit union and this guy refused to negotiate or even match the listed online price UNLESS I ran another credit check with the dealership and sent the financing thru them. I obliged so they got their comm. But then sold me a $1k detail/polish/treatment and screwed me and acted like they did the work when they delivered to me. Gave me the run around for weeks. If a sales rep will screw a member of his own team, he will screw with YOU!

THINGS STOLEN FROM TRUCK!My truck was left with the service department for repairs. When I arrived to pickup the vehicle I was informed they had taken the truck on a "100 mile test drive" and i could rest assured that everything was in working order. 100 miles sounded excessive, but what do I know. I paid for the repairs then went outside to get my vehicle. When I opened the door I instantly knew something was wrong. The center console tray was removed and dumped out. I took a quick inventory and realized multiple items were missing from my truck. I informed the service advisor of my concern and he told me no managers were present (it was saturday) and someone would call me on Monday. I then walked across the street to the sales side and spoke with who the dealership website lists as the "general manager". He then instructed the service advisor to refund my charge for repairs, and again told me someone would call me on Monday. The general manager informed me at this time that no security cameras were working at the dealership. I then called the police dispatch and filed a police report. The truck was not broken into (no windows broken or exterior damage) I know this because the two sets of golf clubs sitting in the back seat were untouched. Someone was able to rummage through the console and take what they wanted. The service repair refund does not come close to the value of things stolen from my vehicle. I was very surprised by the lack of concern expressed by the dealership. I explained that I did not live in town and therefore wanted to figure the issue out while I was there, but the impression I left with was "out of sight, out of mind". As of writing this, I have yet to receive a call from the dealership to solve the matter.

Only thing good about this place is they got my truck oil change done quickly. They did an inspection to make sure everything was as it should be but told me I had broken suspension parts and needed full replacement, but the parts were just worn, not broken. I asked a lot of questions but the service tech couldn't answer them.

I'll sum up my shopping experience in two words: don't bother. I live in MT and saw a vehicle I was interested in on the dealership's website. I called and asked if I could make a deposit to hold the car; I was told no. When I asked for some grace, as it was a Friday and I was out of town without access to my bank (I would have paid cash), sales associate Jeff offered to speak with his sales manager.I spoke with Jeff the next day and he offered to hold the car...for the time it would take me to drive there. I expressed that this would not work for me and asked what other options might be available; could we perhaps find a way to pay over the phone? He offered to ask his manager and get back to me.He did call back, on Monday. To ask if I was still interested in the car. I replied that I was, but was still waiting to hear how they could work with me to ensure that I wasn't finding a ride to Idaho and disrupting my work and home schedules for a car that might be sold out from underneath me. Jeff repeated their useless offer to hold the car if I called as I was leaving Montana. I repeated my need for a better solution. I asked, again, if there was a way I could pay for the car before arriving.I'll repeat that again, for good measure: I, the customer, asked AGAIN if I could please pay $30,000 cash for a car on this lot.Jeff said he would get a final price for me. Today is Thursday; I've never heard back.Perhaps if you live in Idaho Falls you might receive quality customer service from this dealership. But if you live out of town and require some help to purchase a car hundreds of miles away, don't bother. They don't want my business; it's safe to assume they don't want yours either.

Sayer's service keeps me coming back. I have purchased 4 vehicals from them in the past 10 years. Their service dept has always taken great care of me if I have a recall or issue. Just bought a new Jeep and got exactly what I wanted for the price that was better than the dealer up in Kellog ID. The downside, wasn't happy with their offer on my trade and the parts dept needs an attitude adjustment.
