Misleading information about installation. Poor workmanship on installation very unfinished look, customer expected to complete and finish. Have not been contacted about resolution one month out from installation. Would not recommend or ever use Carpet One again.

We're looking for wool carpet for our living room and hallways. We identified 3 samples and brought them home to consider which was right for us. Kevin was able to give us costs in a timely manner. We're able to get cleaning information and schedule farther into the fall.

Positive experience with sales staff. Installation overall was decent--some chipping of new paint and incomplete cleanup, but overall satisfactory.My complaint is the fluidity of the installation schedule.I have a small home and it includes space for a work-at-home business. It was necessary to have help moving items from the rooms being carpeted into my work areas for temporary storage. Because I had so little flexibility, I scheduled installation dates a month in advance so I could arrange my work schedule and for help with moving.My chosen date was a Thursday and the scheduler asked me to keep Friday morning open as well in case installers were unable to complete the stairs and rooms on the same day. My plan was to move things back out of work areas over the weekend.Two days before installation, and after everything had been moved into my work space, I was called and told installation was being rescheduled for the following week. Because I was unable to have the items moved back until the following weekend, this caused another week out of work.I planned carefully to minimize impact to my home and business. Had I known the installation date was not firm, this would not have been the company I would have chosen.

Purchased whole house carpeting (except for basement). New-to-us house had previous pet owners & I'm allergic. Carpet One has excellent carpets & other flooring treatments. Very helpful in selecting "the one" right for us; pile, weave, stain resistance, style, & pricing. EXCELLENT customer service! Very impressed. True to their word. Kept all appointments w us. Installers came on time, too. I definitely recommend them!

UPDATE: The response to my review was very disappointing. You did not cut the carpet straight in numerous place with or without baseboards baseboards there was a large gap. By the fireplace where there never was baseboards there was a huge gap where I cut my finger on the exposed tack strip, and parts by the fireplace that were not cut at all and just resting on the side of the fireplace. I'm disappointed that you take zero responsibility in the work you do. The response back only confirms my commitment to never go through this company again.As far as friendliness and fair pricing goes, they aren't that bad, BUT if you want your carpet installed correctly look elsewhere. The person who installed our carpet missed areas by our fireplace and didn't cut the carpet to size. We had several areas where the carpet was not cut straight so there was large gaps between the carpet and the wall. We contacted them and were told that they would come fix it. They never showed up on the scheduled day so we had to contact them again. They fixed most of the areas, but we still have a few spots where the carpet is cut crooked and at this point I give up, I'm done working with them. We spent a large sum of money having them install the carpet and I'm not satisfied with the job they did at all. I will go somewhere else next time. Huge disappointment.

Price changed a couple times... we did not add for that, or that, or that....blah blahblah... I went along. When completed, add another 400 because it was a long job? What? You went and bid it...knew exactly what it was. No explanation during or before billing...best explanation is its in the small print that I did not sign. No return phone calls, or e mails discussing... just money due notices.... hope I'm never like these people...lessons and examples are cheap. Paid bill.... move on..... never do biz here... land of surprise billing. Guess that's how they win bids????

Liz at Carpet One has been absolutely amazing. She has completely accommodated every construction delay and issue we've had. Right down to physically loading 2000 sq ft of carpet in our trailer. Responsive, knowledgeable and all around great experience.

I am very disappointed in the way that our carpet order was and is still being handled. We bought their sales pitch of claiming to be able to do a better job at ordering carpet than the last store had done for us. Actually the order from the other never came in and we finally just cancelled the order. So we are given a date for the carpet to arrive at Carpet One...... didn't happen. Installation was postponed for weeks later. They scheduled the installation for 10 am. We moved all of our furniture off the carpet stuffing bathrooms and kitchen with furniture. On the very day of scheduled installation and right at 10 a.m. they call to postpone for the next day. I went into the store to make my feelings heard. They then agreed to show up a couple of hours later. They removed the old carpet and pad and only installed the new pad, leaving us with exposed tack strips and our furniture still stacked up. Absolutely not what we were expecting. This is only three rooms! I'm guessing that it wasn't enough of a job to apply full effort at it. Until tomorrow or possibly even later we will be enjoying our freshly laid padding and tack strips. Thank Carpet None.

Carpet One just installed carpet in our house and did an incredible job. Liz helped us pick out carpet and knows everything there is to know about carpet!!! Never pushy. They are very organized and Neil and Justin laid an extremely difficult spiral staircases with patterned carpet. No flaws!!! I would use them again in a heartbeat. High end carpet and installation and likely the best price in town.

This store is the perfect place to find your flooring! The whole store's floor is a patchwork of different types of flooring so that you can actually walk on it and test how it feels. In particular, we needed to know how to make a carpet with short fibers feel cushy. Our salesman directed us to a section of floor with short carpet that had a thick mat; it was exactly the feel we were looking for.We had several questions throughout our time there, and multiple salespersons were quickly available to help us out. They were each very knowledgeable and friendly.Here's one of the neatest parts: you can 'check out' the display pieces (carpet, plank flooring, etc) to bring to your home and see how it will look! The system is similar to checking out a library book, with a return window of a couple days.

We had Carpet One (Liz) come out to our house to get an estimate, she measured everything and said she would get back to us the next day. A week went by and we had not heard from her, tried calling her and they said she wasn’t in that day and that they would have her call us back the next. She never got back to us, called multiple times to get the estimate from her and she was never available and never reached out to us. Horrible customer service! We will take our busy elsewhere!!!! Do not recommend!

We went into the store close to 3 weeks ago and a sales associate was very friendly but she came and measured our house and said she would get us a quote the following week. I called the store in the middle of the following week and was told the sales associate took the week off and they would have her call me on Monday. Another week went by and I called and was told she was with another customer at the time and she would call me back. Again no call. My husband finally called and she said she would call us in an hour with the estimate... that was 2 days ago. Very disappointed with this processes and will definitely be going somewhere else.
