I am paying out of pocket 11k for a medication that my provider received a prior authorization on. I have tried to appeal, but BCBS won't awknowlege the prior authorization. Frustrating, I have been a health care provider for 26 years. I would expect better from my health insurance company.

Customer Service agents don't speak English. If you have this insurance do yourself a favor and go with an AMERICAN company. Not one that outsources to India so they can steal and sell your information.

Waiting 2 weeks for “ authorization “ of a med that I’ve been on for almost 5 years and now they have to play this game. Frustrating to not get the medicine that your Dr has prescribed to you and sent authorization in 2-weeks ago.
