After being a customer for 20 years, I’ve never been treated so bad. When trying to settle my bill, I could only speak with overseas call centers, who hung up on me multiple times. They charge rent for the tank, but they also charge to pick the tank up when service is cancelled—even though I did all the work to get the tank out to the street. Terrible company.

Been a customer for over 30 years and find out that I've been being charged more than double what I can get propane for anywhere else. STAY AWAY! I tried to talk to "resolution" department to find out why they charge so much and was blown off. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I've been a customer of Amerigas for probably close to 25 years. Back then it was V-1. I have had nothing but excellent customer service for that whole time.i was worried that when Amerigas took over things might change and they did but the customer service has remained amazing. Your employees are always kind, considerate and professional. Thank you for all you do.

They won't even service my home because it is on wheels. It is parked, insulated and imobile for the winter. It's not going anywhere. Now I'm almost out of propane and have to find another way to get propane before I freeze to death. Thanks a lot.

The experience is always great. I am not happy about having to pay a fee for a lower rate. Should just be a competitive rate without having to pay to play.

**Update**3 weeks later and still unable to contact. Found a way to schedule a delivery online. Two weeks later, today I reiceved a cancelation with no explanation.The most recent 1 star reviews are accurate. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone for a refill. Their email system is not monitored as my last two emails have not been answered. Their live chat online is not monitored. Their online account is useless unless you are on there to pay them. Wait times are over an hour long via the phone. Don't waste your time, find someone local. If anyone from Amerigas is monitoring this (which they arent), go back to your local customer service from a year ago. As soon as the summer hits, I'm going elsewhere.

The new automated phone system is terrible. Reason enough to switch service to a company that actually cares enough about customer service to pay someone to answer the phone. My estimated wait time to talk to a "Customer Care Advocate" is 81 minutes. Do not use this company!!

Terrible customer service. They billed me for a tank removal from a property I did not own and required payment. After the fee was paid they sent me a second bill saying the account had insufficient funds, but the check was cased. Called to resolve issue and could not get through on phone line. Sent email, but not response. Even went to website and tried to upload my issue, but did not hear back. This company response is so poor I will NEVER do business with them again. Very Frustrated -

DO NOT USE AMERIGAS. I originally rated 5 stars a year ago, but over the summer they switched to "national control" instead of local control. Since then, I have had to wait on hold at least 30 to 45 minutes every time I call (used to go straight to a local person), today I'm 115th in line (not exaggerating). And they were a week late on my first fill-up. As of this moment, they're 19 days late on my second fill-up and I've been at 0% for 5 days. Absolutely atrocious response to a customer in need. I will be changing companies.

Last year I had this company for my propane needs at my RV and then this year I went back with them. I scheduled my tank delivery over 3 weeks ago...said they could deliver but they were busy. The day before it qas supposed to be delivered I get a phone calll saying that they aren't doing 100 gallon tanks anymore so my delivery that I paid for and have been waiting for 3 plus weeks is canceled and I would now have to find a new provider. Turns out they are booked out for 3 weeks too. Now I have to wait a little over 6 weeks for the propane to keep my RV warm without having to worry about refilling my existing tanks every other day. Terrible Customer Service...and to get my refund..I have been on the phone almost 3 hours trying to get this resolved...45 min the first time and got disconnected now almost 1 hour 1t min and counting. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

I have a baby and yet I do not have gas, I waited 2 1/2 weeks for you guys and I got yesterday I would have it now I am being told that I have another 4 days!TERRIBLE service

I sure wish I saw some follow up from Amerigas on these comments. We are a new customer (wish I had read these ahead of time) with Amerigas. We got our tank in, got it filled up, but I can't get in touch with anyone to come hook the tank to our cabin. I've called and sat on hold for over three hours total, we have stopped by the building in Idaho Falls, no one was there and they were kind enough to put the 1-800 on the door (eternal hold), and I have emailed support and our contact without any kind of response. This company is a joke....again, I wish I had read the these prior to going with them.

We have had so many issues with this company and will never go through them again. We have tried to contact customer service 3 different times and sat on hold for an hour each time but we have yet to speak to someone. We have also emailed them 2 times. We are constantly being charged fees and our prices for propane were consistently higher than other companies in the area. They have been difficult for the last 4 years so I don't recommend dealing with them.
