We had the finest experience! We got a new car with 8K miles. The staff in the counter and in the receiving area were incredibly cordial and kind.The car was dirty and I called them asking how dirty would they accept. It was a great response from the lady who picked the phone. We did vacuum, cleaned up the car from inside whatever we could before giving back.It was booked via Costco travels.Super happy with the service.

When I arrived there was just a sign saying to go to their partner companies desk, so to be honest I have no clue how their customer service is cause I never got to see a single Alamo worker there. (Also this was Memorial Day weekend.. seems silly to not have staff at the start of a holiday weekend.)This part is partly on me, I don’t believe in/use credit cards at all. From what I recall, the booking mentioned being able to have an additional hold on my card, which was perfectly fine. I know this world is crazy.. card fraud and crime is a thing. When I arrived this was not the case. Apparently they don’t take debit cards at all.I (obviously) don’t own a rental car company, but why can’t I pay the rental balance on my debit card and then pay additional costs when I get where I’m going? Maybe I’m just a silly 20 year old and just don’t get why I can’t rent a car with my money.

Absolutely a great experience! Had to upgrade to an suv due to snowstorm and the staff was so accommodating. Highly recommend Alamo!!

Alamo allowed me to reserve a car online with a debit card and we paid to take an Uber all the way to the airport where they told me I could not rent a car with a debit card so we had to pay an Uber to go all the way back to town .not happy Big waste of my time.

I prepaid for a vehicle booking for a colleague. When the colleague arrived to collect the vehicle, he was told the branch couldn't find the booking and that he would have to pay to reserve a vehicle. We were charged twice for a vehicle booking and despite my repeated attempts, no one has contacted me to explain why this happened or when a refund would be issued.

While the car itself was comfortable and affordable, the return was disgustingly awful.Driving into the return area of Alamo at Louisville, KY airport, no one appeared to be working. I pulled in to a vacant spot and waited a few minutes.A very old grey haired woman came up and barked at me that the car was not parked in correct spot but to just leave it! Another poor sap pulled up and he too was chewed out for where he parked.She checked me in asking nothing. I ignored her and went looking for the terminal only to have her make some accusation about the gas in the car. I pointed out to her that was not the car I turned in.Then I made a huge mistake, I asked her where an elevator was to the terminal (construction blocked the most direct one) and she said something like "you too good to use stairs?" I had a huge suitcase and am handicapped.I had a reply which I will not share

The location, within the airport was the most convenient factor. The staffs were professionally motivated and suggestive too at the beginning. But, one thing they really disappointed me was they were not caring when I had problem with the car after renting. I have to call my own insurance agent for road side assistance. I am not sure if they do not provide road side assistance, but at least they should be considerate to the call from the renters.

My reservation said that I was the driver and only the drive had to be there for them to release the van. But after my long flight I came with my family and they would not release the van. They said the only person they would release it to was named Traveler Daisy. I even showed them the reservation confirmation and had everyone involved in the reservation process call them they would not budge. We ended up having to switch to a different car rental.
